Friday 7th Nov

Finally got around to updating... I'm useless at logging on and filling this in!

Breakfast: kit kat (5.5 syns)
Lunch: SW quiche and salad
Dinner: Spag Bol
Hexb: 2 ww toast
Hexa: parmesan

Syns - kitkat, milk, crisps
 
Had the week from hell at work, hence the dire lack of updates. Managed a 4lb loss which I'm really pleased about :)

Aims/promises this week

* Look through all old books/mags
* Plan a full weeks menu with Hexs and syns
* Update food diary every day and take pics of food.

Weigh in treat: homemade burger with extra lean mince, cheese (hexa), bacon, extra light mayo and bun (bun and mayo synned)

Excited for the week ahead

Wednesday 12th November 2014

HexA: Milk
HexB: 2 x 400g wholemeal

Breakfast:
Cheese Toastie (2 syns for cheese slice)

Lunch:
Leek and Pot Soup

Dinner:
Chicken and spinach curry with boiled rice

Crisps 7 syns
Cheese Slice 2 syns
Kit Kat 5.5 syns
Total Syns: 14.5 syns
 
Thursday 13th November

B - none
L - scrambled egg on toast, tomatoes (HexB)
D - chicken breast burger (6 syns wholemeal bun) SW chips, cheese (HexA) Syns Bun 6 Crisps 7 Total 13 syns

Friday 14th nov
B - none
L - chicken salad sandwich (HexB)

Saturday 15th November

HexA - laughing cow light blue cheese
HexB - 2 x 400g warburtons wholemeal... How I miss thick, white, buttery toast :(

Breakfast:
Toast (HexB), quark and cherry toms

Lunch:
M&S Red Thai curry (2.5 syns)
Sprinkling of brown micro rice

Dinner:
SW KFC chicken (can't wait to try this!)
SW chips with laughing cow blue cheese (HexA)
Homemade coleslaw with FF yoghurt

Syns:
M&S count on us chocolate mousse (4.5 syns)
Wotsits (4.5 syns)

Total: 11.5 syns
 
Morning diary :) Only two days till weigh in, really hoping for my half stone!! 3lb target. Anyway, had yesterday totally on plan (lacking 1/3 superfree, but I'm very fussy!) which I'm very pleased about! Weekends are always the hardest!

Sunday 16th November

Breakfast: Bacon Sandwich 2 x 400g wholemeal bread Lean bacon 1 tbsp brown sauce (1 syn) image-3580348880.jpg

Lunch: Bit of a disaster... I'm not a massive sunday lunch fan - so carvery was a pretty bad idea! I'm starving!
Lean roast turkey
3 small roast pots (no idea on syns)
half a small yorkshire pudding (they weren't nice, luckily. Yorkshire puddings are my fave)

Dinner: Being hungry is not good. I've no idea what to have. Already had my HexB, I'm craving a toastie :( :( :( Hate being fat!
Edit: SW cheesy chips with spring onions (HexA) with ham sandwich (6 syns for 2 x 400g wholemeal bread)

Argh... almost TOMT feeling bloated and only lost a crappy 1lb according to my scales. And I avoided takeaway last night

Breakfast:

Quark
Cup of tea (1/2 syn dash of Skimmed milk)

Lunch:
Spicy butternut sqaush soup

Dinner:
SW Mac n Cheese (HexA)

Hey thanks :) Weigh in was tonight, 2lbs off. SW KFC chicken is yum! It's chicken coated in cous cous, will post the recipe after I've had my tea. Do you have a diary? xx
 
Tuesday 18th November

2lbs off this week. A little disappointed it wasn't 3 but hey ho. Better off than on! Plus it's TOTM and I'm bloated :(

Breakfast: fruit and yoghurt
lunch: ham salad sandwich (hexb)
Dinner: WI Treat: chicken fajitas (made with chicken, veg, spices, ww wrap, hexa of cheese, ff natural yoghurt)

Syns: M&S lightly salted tortilla chips - Yum Yum :)
 
haha, you'll get there next week.

I believe it took me about 10 months to lose it. Then I kind of gave up and (luckily) have been maintaining for just over a year.
 
Well done on your loss that's brilliant! :) You sound very much like me.. Impatient haha. I do have a diary in the silver section... Its called living abroad fat and fed up!

Ashleighjane massive well done in maintaining! I lost 6 stone last yr for my wedding and put most of it back on :-@ kicking myself massively now!!

Slimming world KFC Chicken (Free - ish...?)

It says in the SW book that if cous cous is used as a flour substitute it has syns, I'm not sure how this stands with using it as a coating... I had it and lost as have lots of others at my group.

Anyway...

chicken breasts
plain cous cous
2 eggs
mustard powder, celery salt, mild chilli powder, black pepper, garlic powder, salt and parsley - I never measure amounts, just had a bit of a shake and hope for the best!
boiling water

Pour cous cous into a dish
Add the spices according to how garlicy/spicy you like it
cover in water until cous cous is coated/covered and leave for around 5 mins
beat 2 eggs and add to the cous cous mixutre until it forms a paste
cover chicken breasts in the coating, squirt with fry light and bake until cooked.

Was very yummy!
