Food Diary SW - post baby slim down

Hi all,

I have recently had a baby and I ate a lot during pregnancy. This has left me with 2st to lose. I have had some success with SW before and will be starting my dairy tomorrow.

At the moment I'm going to try and do it without a group so advice from anyone would be great.

Feeling determined x
 
Ok so here goes......
I'm waiting for my books to arrive so I've done today with what I remembered from last time and info online!

Breakfast - banana and apple

Snack - pineapple

Dinner - left over spicy bacon (fat cut off) and tomato pasta. I added carrots, peas and sweetcorn too.

Snack - 2 multigrain ryvita (HEb) with light Philly (2 syns)

Tea - homemade butternut squash jalfrezi with rice. This is a great recipe adapted from the hairy bikers book! Didn't need to add anything to thicken the sauce so I saved on syns and used frylight instead of oil.

Drinks
Tea - used semi skimmed milk as HEa
Options mint got chocolate - 2 syns (a treat for my sweet tooth this evening)

Exercise
I went to the gym this morning which was tough as it has been a while - I burned 240 cals doing 30 minutes on the treadmill and then 40 sit-ups!

More syns today as I made an error with my bread! Had granary left over from before I started so I used it up!

Breakfast - banana and apple

Dinner - two rounds of granary bread (9 syns) and beans and pineapple and grapes for pudding.

Tea - slimming world tarragon chicken minus Dijon mustard plus Philly light (2 syns)

Drinks
Tea - milk as HEa

Exercised today also. I went to the gym and went on the treadmill for 30 mins and did sit-ups too.
 
Tea was very nice - such a good recipe!

I am thanks and feeling motivated. The weekend will be tough for me because I love a few wines and naughty food! I have got a nice sat tea planned and going to try and stick to one or two glasses of red ?

I had a baby three months ago and it's nice to finally have some time to plan and cook a bit lol! Of course when she screams nothing gets done!

How are you finding it?

Breakfast - apple and banana

Snack - half grapefruit

Dinner - 3 Multi grain ryvitas HEb with egg mayo (light mayo 2 tbsp) 4 syns

Snack - grapes and raspberries with natural yogurt

Tea - spicy prawn linguini made with tinned toms, toms purée, chilli flakes, garlic, prawns, onion and mushrooms with lettuce and shredded beetroot

Drinks
Tea with semi skimmed milk HEa
Options mint hot choc 2 syns

Total syns - 6
 
Oo also had a swim today

First time since I was 9 months pregnant and it felt amazing to be able to stretch my arms in the water lol x
 
13th nov - Green Day

Breakfast - apple and banana

Snack - grapes

Dinner - beans and 1 frylight egg on two rounds of whole meal bread HEb 1&2 with margarine 3.5 syns. Had some brown sauce too (2 tbsps) 2 syns

Tea - homemade vegetable chilli with mixed beans on jacket potato

Drinks
Tea - semi skimmed milk HEa
Options hot choc - 2 syns

Total syns - 7.5
 
Phhewwww - busy day with the baba

Breakfast - Apple and Banana - cup of tea with milk HEa

Dinner - jacket potato with tuna and sweetcorn mayo (light) 4 syns with lettuce and beetroot

Snack - ryvita x2 with Philly light 2 syns

Tea - Thai 7 spice stir fry with chicken, noodles, mushrooms and peppers! I made the sauce with soy sauce, water and Thai sweet chilli sauce (1.5 syns) and served with lettuce and beetroot.

Snack - Option mint hot choc 2 syns

Also had a few teas during the day using HEa milk allowance.

Total syns - 9.5
 
15/11 - EE day

Breakfast - grapefruit and cup of tea (0.5)

Snack - banana

Dinner - tuna mayo (4 syns) and sweetcorn with whole meal pasta

Snack - nume cereal bar (HEb) and apple

Cup of tea 0.5 syns

Tea - homemade burgers with melt in the middle cheese HEa served with homemade Cajun chips, side salad and lime and mint dip

Snack - 175mls of red wine - 6 syns

Total syns - 11
 
Forgot to add that I went to the gym yesterday and 35 mins cardio and sit-ups! It's so much harder on a Saturday!

Today has been tough - Lo is teething at the moment and she has screamed all day, no sleep and not good with her feeds either! She's finally in bed so my sanity is returning!

16/11 - Green Day

Breakfast - two eggs scrambled with milk HEa

Dinner - beans on small whole meal bread HEb with brown sauce 2 syns

Tea - stir fry with courgettes, toms, bean sprouts, peppers, mushrooms, noodles and onion! Syns for Thai sweet chilli sauce in the sauce 3 syns

Snack - options mint hot choc 2 syns

Total syns - 7

Weigh in tomorrow morning and I few nervous. I've stuck to plan all week but don't feel like I've lost a good few pounds! I will be so disheartened if I haven't
 
Weighed in today - lost 2lb which I thought wasn't very good for a first week! Anyways need to carry on and be positive. I might try a few red days to see if lower carbs help.

Breakfast - managed about 5 grapes in between comforting Lo who loves to cry at the moment.

Dinner - left over vegetable stir fry 1.5 syns in the sauce

Snack - 2 ryvitas HEb with SW houmous which was yummy

Tea - homemade lentil bake 2 syns for gravy granules. This is made with green lentils, carrots, onions, mushrooms and tinned toms. I layer it with potato in a casserole dish.

I have used milk as my HEa

Snack - options mint hot choc 2 syns

Total syns - 5.5
