Getting my body back - vegetarian EE

After just having my second baby it is time to start focusing on getting my self fit and healthy to enjoy them. After 5 weeks after birth I finally weighed myself at 13st 4 at 5ft3 that is a lot to lose. Currently 13st 2 on last weigh in (thurs).

Am following EE with HEx for breastfeeding. I am currently not going to class so am going to write my diary on here to keep me on track.

Want to try and get as much veg in as possible, cook as much as I can around a baby and toddler
 
Monday
B muesli (heb) fat free shape yoghurt, banana.
L pasta shells, pepper, asparagus, tomato purée, lightest Philly (1.5) light cheddar (hea)
D peppers stuffed with quinoa topped with leeks and Brie (hea x2) quorn burger (2) cheddar (4)

Total sins 7.5

- need to drink more water tomorrow - one diet coke and one squash.

Do you find slimming world harder being a vegetarian.
I desperately want to like slimming world but every time I do it I find the results are so slow.. I find because I am veggie I am always eating carbs .
Just thought I'd get your opinion being a fellow veggie.
I also have a little one like you.. Although mine is 6 months now Goes way too quick! Xx
 
Hi I like it on EE for being a veggie as encourages balance, I like the encouragement to eat so much veg which I enjoy. I like having the carbs in proportion to the rest of the food and hopefully lose weight. I don't eat a lot of bread on slimming and try and buy wholemeal pasta and brown rice and generally have sweet potatoes rather than normal potatoes, also use quinoa quiet a lot, this keeps me full and stops the snacking.
The worst for me is lots of prep with a baby and toddler and cheese as I am addicted and eat too much, with having extra healthy extras am indulging but when I stop use most of my Syns on it. 6 months is a lovely age, lots of exploring
the world around them. How are you finding it? X
 
Tuesday

B muesli banana, fat free yoghurt, banana, strawberry and blueberries.
L pasta, peppers, asparagus, lightest Philly (1 1/2) low fat cheddar hea
D peppers stuffed with quinoa and cous cous topped with leeks and Brie (3 1/2), LM red onion and rosemary sausage x2, sweet pot and butternut squash roasted with halloumi hea x2

Snacks - banana and clementine
Syns 5

Diet Pepsi and 2 x squash - not enough water again!!!
Little sleep due to snuffling baby, spent day comforting little one, doing washing and tidying.
 
Wednesday

B porridge (heb) 1/2 sachet options (1) banana
L roasted sweet potato, pepper and butternut squash with low fat cheddar (hea)
D spag Bol (quorn mince, mushroom, pepper, aubergine, courgette, carrots, tomato purée, tomatoes) spaghetti and cheese (hea 1 1/2)

Snacks - kit Kat 5.5
Syns 6.5

Pepsi and squash
Lots of sorting house out and a bit of shopping. Have toddler and baby tomorrow and the girls over for tea and to do nails so will be a busy one.
 
Thursday

D honeycomb cannelloni (made with same spag Bol mix) low fat mozarella and Parmesan hea, spinach, asparagus, sugarsnap peas, courgette

No snacks or syns today

Not a good day as basically had same for lunch and dinner. Did avoid snack at playgroup, garlic bread with dinner and lemon cheesecake with friends who came for a meal - now realised I have had no syns so could have indulged a bit. Hopefully better day tomorrow ?
 
Friday
- hardest day on SW so far wanted to snack all day, hope it is better tomorrow

Tomorrow going out - with the baby but at least it is out. Vegas themed 50th birthday should be amazing
 
Saturday

Going out though so def more syns to come but going to aim to be good!!
 
Only two chocolates eaten at the party so within my Syns - lovely evening very different being out with the baby, good to catch up with everyone x
 
Sunday
Very tired didn't get to bed till after midnight, fed the baby at 5 and little one got up at 5.30 - struggled all day to be on track - hardest day so far after a few hard days...

D chilli and rice - quorn pieces, leeks, peppers, courgette, carrots, tomatoes. Cheese 1/2 hea
Snack: walkers pops prawn cocktail (4.5?)

Much better day enjoyed the veg and haven't been tempted x

Crap day horrible lady made me cry about my daughters injections - so rude and not needed. Coming down with a cold. Weigh in tomorrow and although I have stuck to plan don't feel like I have lost anything!

Weigh in day -2 now 12st 11 and 1/2 stone loss in 3 weeks

Friday

B French fried bread made with 2 eggs, dash of milk (1) banana and kumquat, wholemeal bread heb

D 2 quorn burger (4) peppers, asparagus, spinach and other greens, olives (1), capers, lightest Mayo (1) with mustard powder, applewood hea and (5)

Tired today, double helping of rice at lunch stopped me snacking, otherwise think I would have gone over today. Really enjoyed the veg today and breakfast was a real treat although porridge and muesli always keep me fuller - then again my son did help me eat my French toast!!!
 
Saturday

Really enjoyed treating myself to chocolate today. Missed out on an amazing trip to London via a limo to see winter wonderland and go to ice bar, Ferris wheel, lights on Oxford St, champagne etc for my friends 50tg birthday due to breast feeding - also didn't eat anything when I met them for breakfast at weather spoons as would have taken me over my Syns in one meal!! So needed a treat, looking forward to watching the last Grand Prix of the season tomorrow x
 
Sunday

L Thai curry lots of veg (3 for sauce) with egg noodles
D gnocchi (4) with roasted veg, pepper, courgette, aubergine, capers, tomatoes and purée? cheddar and Parmesan hea x2

More water today and pushed the pram to the shops for a 30 min walk.
