My food diary :)

Hi,

My name is Kirsty, I am new to SW and MiniMins :)

I am 22 years old, 5ft2
I joined SW on 03/01/2015 and weighed in at 9st12lb

I don't have a huge amount of weight to lose but decided to join SW due to the fact that I had gained over a stone in a short period of time and did not want this to become a habit!

My weight gain was mainly because I work in an office, I hardly do any exercise and when it came to dinners I would order a takeaway - which not only was costing me a fortune but was causing me to gain weight - I barely ate any fruit or veg and almost always had a bar of chocolate or packet of crisps beside me.

I am uncomfortable in all my clothes, I've had to buy bigger sizes (and even now my new jeans are starting to hurt as they are digging in)

I have decided that I've had enough and I am going to take control and eat more healthy ! :)
I am also planning on doing the odd bit of exercise now and again (probably with fitness dvds)

Now I have got the hang of syns etc I have decided that I am going to start posting my food diary in the hopes I meet some people who are nice enough to share any meal ideas/advice/encouragement and just general chat!

Breakfast:
2 x rocky road hi-fi light bars (HxB)
300ml of 1% milk (HxA)
Banana

Lunch:
Sweet Thai Chilli low fat super noodles
Mullerlight strawberry yoghurt
Watermelon
100ml of semi skimmed milk (2.5 syns) (used in tea with sweetners)

Dinner:
Pork medallions with mushrooms and chips (made using SW recipe and frylight)
Clementine
Options sweet popcorn hot chocolate (2 syns)

Late snack:
Tinned Salmon, lettuce, pickled onions with tbsp of colmans seafood sauce (2 syns)
Options praline hot chocolate (2 syns)

Total syns = 8.5

Hi Kirsty, best of luck with your diary! I've just started mine this week too so hopefully we'll be able to give each other tips as we learn! :)

Good luck for your first week ! My first weigh in is Saturday and I'm so nervous ! x

How have you found it? I'm surprisingly filled up all the time which is a refreshing change after always being starving on WW! X
 
Yeah, I'm really surprised at how much I can eat, I'm finding it difficult cutting out milk and sugar the most as I love my cups of tea haha! Having to use sweetener and ration my milk ! But if I lose weight tomorrow I will be amazed as I've done nothing but eat ! I've never liked the idea of WW having to count points for everything you eat ! x

SW Chips & Vinegar
Carrot Sticks with lightest Philadelphia (1.5 syns)
Mullerlight toffee yoghurt

Total syns = 6

Thank you, I lost 1.5lbs, which I'm happy with as my first night on plan I went out for a meal with my work and had chocolate cake and wine etc so I'm surprised I lost weight ! x

Well Done on your Loss! 1.5lbs is a steady sensible loss so well done you! How are you getting on now? X
