Week 1 loss: 5 lb

Day 1, week 2 of SW, following a good first week loss it seems like a good idea to track what I eat going forward in order to avoid any nasty surprise gains!

I don't eat a "normal breakfast" and probably never will. Food intake begins around 10/11am or later and I don't intend to change :)

AM: half grapefruit, 2 Alpen light bars (HEx)
PM: 1/2 HEA cheese (snack), salmon, onions, mushrooms (cooked in fry light) with other half HEA cheese, 3 tbsp 3% fat morrisons creme fraiche (1.5) with pasta.
Other syns: 200 ml skimmed milk in coffee (4.0)

Day 2, week 2

Didn't eat until 1pm today, too busy earlier.

Half grapefruit, 2 alpen light bars (hex). About to start cooking a homemade bean chilli and rice for dinner - using fry light, chopped tomatoes, onion, garlic, baked beans, kidney beans and seasoning, and plain rice. Plus hea cheese to grate on top. Had to add tbsp 3% creme fraiche (made it too hot 0.5)
Syns: 200ml skimmed milk in coffee (4.0), and a couple of g and slimline t s to finish off the evening (6.0)

Total syns: 10.5

Day 3, week 2

Varying the menu today!

AM: porridge (HEx) and a pear

PM (plan) jacket potato with tuna, and light Mayo (2.0), red peppers and red onion, 1 pear afterwards.
HEA skimmed milk in coffees (no cheese day today)
Other syns: options (2.0)

Total syns: 4.0

Day 4, week 2

Today's going to be a hungry day, I can feel it already!

Plan:
AM: 2 alpen lights (hex), smoked mackerel fillets, half a melon.
PM: roast chicken with salad, low fat mozzarella (hea) and some Ainsley Harriot rice (chilli and lime quinoa and basmati), I need to check syns on this so may change it as I'm hoping it will be free. Edited to add: syns 2.0 for half a box, perfect :)

Syns: milk in coffee (4.0), rice (2.0)

Total: 6.0
 
Day 5, week 2

AM: 1 alpen light
PM: smoked mackerel fillet and salad with grated cheese (hea). Alpen light (hexb).
Plan for dinner later is SW chips, eggs, mushrooms and tomatoes.
Syns: milk in coffee (4.0), 2 g and slimline t s (6.0)

Total syns: 10
 
Damn, forgot to buy fry light when I was out, and ran out last night, so going to have to try cooking the chips in the same way with olive oil. Hoping to get away with 2tsp = 4 syns between 4 of us should only be 1 extra syn today. Have added fry light to my tesco online shop for delivery tomorrow :)

Edited to add, didn't use the syn for the oil. Hubby brought some fry light home :)

Day 6, week 2

AM: every intention of grabbing fruit but just didn't get chance. So nothing until 1pm apart from coffee.
PM: SW recipe syn free mushroom soup (absolutely divine!) And a Petit pain (hex).
Chinese takeaway for dinner later, king prawns in green pepper and black bean (7.5), I'll cook a batch of boiled rice to have with it, and splurge the rest of my syns on gin - g and slimline t s (6.0)

Total syns: 13.5

Milk in coffee hea today.

Day 7, week 2

AM: Danone shape 0% yogurt, I can't find whether these are synned or not (can only find shape delights and this pack doesn't mention delight anywhere on it :-/ ) so I'm synning it at 0.5.
Bacon, eggs, mushrooms, beans, tomatoes (all cooked in fry light).
PM: 2 alpen lights (hex), beef, red cabbage, carrots, peas, potatoes, parsnips, 2 tsp horseradish sauce (1.0), danone shape 0% yogurt (0.5)
Cookies n cream KitKat (5.5)

Hea milk in coffee.

Total syns: 7.5

If I remember right, they've changed the names of the Shape 0% yoghurts, so the delights ones you see on the website are right :)

Roast chicken, spicy SW recipe coleslaw (1.0), SW chips, bit of rice, another yogurt, cheese snack (hea)
Syns: milk in coffees (4.0), options (2.0) sneaky bag wotsits (4.5)

Total syns: 11.5

Worked it out! Tonights meal (ate a bit before I thought to snap), that coleslaw was delicious!

Pm: alpen light (hex), cucumber sticks and homemade hummus, cheese (hea), river cobbler, salad, remaining coleslaw (0.5), rice.

Feeling virtuous with my dinner tonight, I turned down a Chinese meal and birthday cake in favour of this!

Am totally full now though :)
