Well, seeing as I keep nosying at everyone else' food diaries, I figured it was about time I get my act together and start my own :):) Please feel free to give me pointers :D

Although I've been on and off SW for several years, I've reached that point where I'm starting again as my clothing choices from my wardrobe have become extremely limited! But despite my ups and downs with my weight, I know SW works, and I know I can get back to target
I weigh in Monday nights, and I'm on the social team of my group (and I love it!)

So for today I've got -

Breakfast: Mullerlight, an apple and 2 satsumas
Snack: Grapes
Lunch: Chicken and Rice salad - chicken, rice, mangetout, carrot, baby plum tomato's, spring onion; dressing made from soy sauce, lime, red chilli, ginger, garlic, chinese 5-spice (new recipe, so will see how it goes!) [Free... I think, will check the syns when I get home!]
Snack: 2 x Hi-fi light (hexb), 1 satsuma
Dinner: Pasta, bacon, shallots, tinned tomatos, passata, basil, S&P, cheese (hexa)
Syns: Hifi Salted Caramel (6 syns)

I try to drink around 3 litres of water a day, and have been eliminating fizzy stuff too (although I only ever drank diet)

Total syns: 6

Trying to keep my syns low this week as I've got plans at the weekend, so I want to be able to use quite a few then :)

edited to include change in dinner plans and extra Hifi bar

Fingers crossed! Trying to stick to the plan, and keep my syns low if I can, knowing I'm out Sunday. But if I plan the food, I should be fine having a few drinks :)
Houmous is on the menu too, so going to try make some of that tonight for the next few days. Carrot sticks at the ready :) lol x

Really enjoyed the pesto pasta last night, and there was so much that it's now lunch for today and tomorrow :) lol
Unsure what to have with Salmon for tea... will update later after I've figured it out :)

This may sound strange, but I think I hate Thursday more than Monday... I seem to have an 'all over the place' day on Thursday, but luckily, I've been prepared with meals! Last of the pesto pasta today... I love it, but 3 days straight is a bit much lol

Also think my plans have changed for Sunday, and if they have, I'll be opening a bottle of wine tomorrow night! If it is cancelled, it'll save me plenty of pennies, and plenty of syns, which will be a first in a long time! :D lol

Today:

Breakfast: Mullerlight and frozen berries
Snack: Satsumas, pear
Lunch: Pesto Pasta - linguine, fresh basil, rocket, parmesan, green beans, fat free fromage frais (Parmesan is 50g across 4 portions - overestimating at approx 3 syns)
Snack: Satsumas, pears
Dinner: Sausage Casserole (can't remember the recipe, so will edit tonight!) with SW chips possibly (3 syns for sausages - 3 x 1 syn each)
Snack: 2 x Hi-fi light (hexb), cheese (hexa)
Syns: Parmesan (3), sausages (3) wine (13.5 syns)... I caved before Friday! :p

Total syns: 19.5 (40/105)

Ok, so didn't get chance to update yesterday, so I'll do 2 days in one :)

Friday:

Didn't get chance for breakfast, straight into a meeting at work which I didn't get out of until 12:00 :( and I can't eat before leaving the house in the morning, tried many times and I physically can't eat for some reason!
So started at lunch with a pasta salad from a local sandwich shop - Pasta, lettuce, cucumber, tomato, peppers, carrot, sweetcorn, beetroot, ham and some pineapple (2 syns)
For tea, SW sweet & sour (1 syn) with rice, 2 Hifi Rhubarb Crumble bars. I also finished the bottle of wine from Thursday night (13.5 syns) so that makes 16.5 syns for Friday.

Total syns: 16.5 (56.5/105)

Saturday:
Breakfast: satsumas, pear and mullerlight
Lunch: Pulled pork sandwich (on ciabatta) with salad and SW chips (pulled pork from Tesco, half of a 170g pack at 3 syns)
Snacks: Rocky bar (4.5 syns) and Milkybar buttons (4.5 syns)
Dinner: Piri Piri Chicken with homemade coleslaw (carrot, cabbage and onion mixed with light mayo) so around 2 syns for the mayo

I will probably have a couple of drinks tonight, but haven't decided what yet, so will update later!

Total syns: 14 (70.5/105)

Ok, so maybe the weekend didn't go to plan... at all! Ended up going completely over on syns, so as much as I was hoping for a loss tonight, I really don't expect one!

But anyway, new week, so let's start again!

Breakfast: Mullerlight & frozen berries
Snack: Satsuma
Lunch: Jacket potato & bolognaise (wasn't 5%, but 15% instead, so maybe 4 for that?) and 30g cheese (hexa)
Snack: Pear
Dinner: Beef in Blackbean sauce with rice (green peppers, onion) - 4 syns (1 tbsp sauce - 3 syns and 1 tsp sugar - 1 syn)

Luckily dinner will take minutes to cook, so will be very quick and easy after the dreaded weigh in!

Dont stress about the weekend chick, it's done with now, and if you enjoyed it thats a bonus.
Just jump back on the wagon and take it a day at a time till you get back on it.

Well to say I went in fully expecting a gain, a 1lb loss is brilliant! :D Just got to keep on top of it this week so I don't see the 'delayed' gain next week :)
Wasn't overly impressed with dinner last night, it wasmore of a paste than a sauce, so was very dry... but added some soy sauce and that made it a bit better. The actual taste of the black bean was nice, but maybe I'd make it with stock next time and see if that works any better.
Absolutely riddled with a cold today, started at the weekend and I've woken up this morning feeling like there's someone sat on my chest and I keep barking sat in my little corner of the office! Annoying because I thought I'd seen the back of this at New Year's. Had it all through December and half of Nov... Curse you germs!!

Not much of an appetite today, but I've got everything planned anyway!

Breakfast: Mullerlight & frozen berries
Snack: Satsuma
Lunch: Tune Nicoise salad
Snack: Pear, satsuma
Dinner: Probably something from the freezer, Sheperd's pie, or meatballs. It isn't 5% mince, so I'm going to over estimate at 4 syns for the mince, and if it's sheperd's pie, I think there may be some butter in the mash, so 2 syns for that. (Will use hexa on dinner also, whatever i have!)

Home alone tonight, so going to make Chicken Korma tonight for Wednesday's dinner so it's easier to grab and eat when I get home from work Wed (if I'm not falling asleep by the time I get home tonight!) and Falafel and houmous for lunch tomorrow too.
Off to the supermarket at lunch to get plenty of cold related drugs and make a doctors appointment!!

Going to make my own. It's in the SW little book of lunches recipe book.
I know I've made the houmous before and I really enjoyed that, and me and my sister have been meaning to try the falafel for ages, so we'll give it a try!
Want to try flavour the houmous with something this time, maybe a little cayene pepper or paprika? not sure yet, I'll end up trying little spoonfuls with different spices on to see which I like best! :)

Ok, so maybe last night didn't go to plan. At all. Oops!

I got home, and after much internal persuasion, I got up and made a start on the Chicken Korma for tonight, which hardly takes any effort to be honest, it's just simmering for a while once it's all in the pan. I was in the middle of deciding what to eat when I get a phone call from my sister, whose plans have changed and she's on her way home. I was all set to warm something up in the microwave from the freezer, but then somehow we ended up with the delivery man from Domino's at the front door (Oh dear!) so that blew the plan out of the window! I have to admit, I really enjoyed it, although I'm regretting getting it purely because I know I've ruined the eating plan for the week, but I'm feeling so awful, that I'm pretty much grabbing what I want when I want something. I don't seem to have an appetite as such, I just seem to be eating because I know I have to eat something. So I'm hoping that I can get through the week with trying to do what I can.
On the plus side, I seem to be craving water like someone stranded in the dessert! I drink lots anyway, but to say I've been at work for 4 hours, I've probably drank about 4 litres already... And I've got tonight's tea sorted, just need to make the rice when I get home and I can sit down, eat and then go to bed lol.

Feeling slightly better today, and very excited that it's Friday tomorrow and I'll have the weekend to catch up on the sleep I've been missing this week and try to get rid of these germs!

Haven't done too bad today, got some bacon and tomato from the refectory at work (counting a 2/3 syns for the bacon being cooked in some oil) and had a wholemeal roll. I've nibbled on a Hifi bar at lunch with some fruit and a mullerlight, but apart from that, I'm just not feeling hungry.
Not sure what tea is tonight, but it'll most liekly be free/very low synned, so hoping that I can try to do some 'repair' to the Domino's fiasco the other night!

Fingers crossed I pick up over the weekend... I don't like not having an appetite!! :(

Glad to hear you're feeling better lovely, a few good night's sleep should get you right as rain in no time.
Well done on today's eats too, dont worry about the Domino's fiasco, it was what it was.

Try and have some chicken soup or some vegetable, tomato and Lentil soup - it's a SW recipe and I always put extra chilli powder in for an extra kick up the bum. Let me know if you want the recipe.
