Hey guys!

So back again trying to lose weight ready for alton towers re opening in April. We managed to get really cheap merlin annual passes so plan in going as often as possible... A few I couldn't get on last year that I'm desperate to try!

so I re joined a group on Saturday and I'm going to give this a really good go!

I will be following the extra easy plan unless I say otherwise

today's food...

breakfast - muller light Greek blueberry 0.5 syns, banana.

lunch - left over Kheema curry for the extra easy cook book, I will throw in some extra sugar snaps and have with egg noodles

tea - have just loaded the slow cooker with stewing beef, frozen casserole veg, leeks, red onions and peppers. Also oxo rosemary and red wine herbs and more x 2 3 syns. I'm thinking this will make 3 portions so 1 syn per portion. Will serve with new potatoes.

healthy extra a - 350ml semi skimmed milk for hot drinks
healthy extra b - undecided, I would usually have oats for breakfast so I will try to use this but may not manage today...

snacks...

I've got lots of fruit in, yellow plums, grapes, kiwi, Sharon fruit plus will probably have a muller fruitopolis 0.5 syns and a 2 finger kit kat 5.5 syns so 7.5 for the day. My consultant told me I can have up to 20 at the moment so will possible have an afternoon treat.

Any comments/advise greatly appreciated....

Left over Kheema curry with noodles... Lots of veg... Sugar snaps, carrots, mushrooms, red onions and tomatoes :)

I'm so bored sat at home! I work full time but I'm sick so taken a few days off. I have been reading through other peoples diaries to get some inspiration and food ideas. Usually I would eat when I am bored but for obvious reasons I'm avoiding that, also not much of an appetite at the moment.

Also each time I get warm and comfy with my blanky I need a wee??!!!

Hello - just popping into subscribe. I am quite good in the house as I have plenty to keep me entertained - I can be bad at work when I am bored. A tip I read in someone's else thread recently was if you are thinking of eating junk to get an apple (or other speed/superfree) and think about eating that and if you don't want that you aren't actuallu hungry you are bored so don't need anything - I wish I could remember whose thread it was in because they explained it better I think but I am going to try that at work. :)

Hope you feel better soon, so many people ill at the moment.

Thank you! Just feeling bunged up and grotty! Sure it will pass soon :)

That's a really good way of thinking! I fat too regularly don't eat the healthy stuff I've taken to work but have eaten stuff from the vending machine or baking people have brought in. I definitely have issues in saying no to myself....!

Tonight tea... Beef stew... Lots of casserole veg, onions, leeks and peppers served with new potatoes

Your stew looks great! I never thought to put leeks in stew, i will be doing that this week :)

It was really tasty! The frozen veg is great too... Tho was quite watery from things being frozen so needed to boil some off...

Enjoy :)

Well bed time for me :) evening snack of a kitkat and muller fruitopilis as planned. A couple of hot no added sugar strawberry and Apple juices which is helping my cold :)

4 good days so far so hoping for a loss on Saturday

Night :)

Ive subscribed to your food diary so I can help you on your way even though I totally self sabotaged myself!

:)

Hot squashes are my fave by far!

Stew looks lovely - it's one of my favs at the moment. I use loads of frozen veg just have to remember not to add water when cooking in a slow cooker as you'll get plenty from the frozen veg.

That was one of my errors yesterday.... Tho only added enough to dissolve the oxo stuff... Needed to boil some off to thicken it.

Hello :)

So it's not morning... And I didn't get up till gone 12... I'm iff work poorly this week, really u like me to stay in bed that long, usually bouncing out at 6am! Feeling pretty sorry for myself :-(

So my mum called and asked if I needed anything from the shops, needed milk and a few other bits so decided to go with her. Went to morrisons and stocked up on quorn nuggets whilst there 93p a bag... Really yummy and only 0.5 syns each. Also bought dark chocolate alpro milk.. :) and got quorn lamb grills reduced to 19p.

So food today so far..

Breakfast - spaghetti hoops on toast (heb) with a banana and a yogurt... Not quite a third sadly..

And that's it so far... Oh had another banana with a coffee

So a choice today is ss milk and b 2 x bread from 400g loaf

Tea - quorn lamb grills, new potatoes, spag hoops and mange tout and broccoli.

Syns... 250ml of alpro dark choc milk 5.5 syns made into a mocha which I'm drinking now and is delicious!

Will update again later :)

Slight change to tonight menu... Switched new potatoes to mashed sweet and normal potato... Huge pile of brocolli under there!

Wow... The quorn lamb grills were delicious! A bargain at 19p but I'll definitely be buying them again!

6 syns used so far today and I can have 20 at the moment. Will have a kit Kat ands fruitopilis later on with a cuppa :)

Morning :) Breakfast - just tried the baked oats! 35g of oats (heb) 100mls of dark choc alpro milk (2 syns) 1 egg and some sweetner, served with lemon muller greek style yog (0.5 syns) and raspberries and blueberries And the verdict.... Erm... Nice... Cakey almost... Filling and different! Lunch - left over beef stew and mash with some mangetout Tea - planning on making chinese curry with egg noodles. It's a sharwoods sauce that's 9 syns for the jar, with have half (4.5 syns) and will make some courguette noodles to mix in... A bit of broccoli left so will have that too... 7 syns in that lot so will probably have a kit Kat later on (5.5) and maybe a choc alpro latte (5.5 for 250mls) so total of 18 and I get 20 at the moment. Will see how I feel tho... Might not have the latte Healthy extra a will be 350ml ss milk for drinks image-2366121808.jpg

Baked oats sound a fab idea - especially if they are cake like, I am never in around breakfast though and tend to use weekends to have cooked breakfast but I might just make them to have cake like thing if I have a spare HEB. Just to let you know if you mean semi skimmed by ss then it is only 250ml for a healthy a, 350ml is for skim milk.

Food sounds lovely I was inspired by your post the other day to make beef stew in slow cooker today
