Hi! This isn't my first diary on here, I'm not great at staying on plan but do tend to jump from diet to diet, I'm trying my hardest to stop that & stick to sw only. I currently weigh 10 stone exactly, I have been going to a slimming world group for 12 weeks & have lost a measly 5lb! I was doing really well at first but had to change group due to childcare and after that I just couldn't stay motivated & wasn't staying for image therapy as the group was stupidly large. Maybe 75 members? which for me defeats the object of paying to go to a slimming club. I have followed sw loosely on and off for a few years and know it works IF I can stick to it! So from tomorrow I will follow plan and weigh at home. My problem is I want to lose a stone in a week, I lose interest quickly, I need to realise that slow progress is still progress!
I have three children under 5 and pre children weighed around 8-8.7 stone, would love to get back to that but at the moment I would be really happy to get below 9 1/2 stone as been unable to get below 9.12 since having my last baby 19 months ago. I'm only 5.1 so even half a stone difference is noticeable!
One thing I hated about going to group, a lot of people judged me, "why are you here, you don't have much to lose surely?" They would say, its not what you want to hear when your trying to stay motivated!

I would love any fellow sw followers to follow my diary as think that would motivate me massively. So if anyone is reading this say hi! Xx

hi, following your diary. I'm the same one min I'm calorie counting then I'm doing sw then a shake diet.
I'm a mum to two boys and am 35.
I'm 10 stone and want to get to 8.5 by the end of July which is probably unachievable as it's 9 weeks away but I will try.
how did the rest of day one go?
 
Hi! We're very much the same weight then! I'm blaming my husband! But day 1 was not great & we had a friend over last night for a last minute bbq, I had a bit of a binge the last few days but am ready to start fresh. Also I like the idea of weighing on a Saturday morning.

Day 1 Got a terrible hangover.. The thought of food isn't very appealing right now. I do have a chicken curry to cool up & a pork joint too.

Breakfast

Banana
Milk (1a)

Brunch

Full English with egg, beans, tomatoes, mushrooms.
2 BGTY sausage (2)
2 x wm toast (1b & 3)
Low fat spread (1)

Mid afternoon snack

Fat free yoghurt with raspberries

Dinner

Slow cooked pork
Roasties
Broccoli / carrots / peas
Gravy (2)
Mint sauce (2)

So last night I had a can of carlsberg (10) & some wine (14)
Total syns so far 34/105

Day 2

Breakfast 2 x wholemeal toast (1b & 6) Mushrooms / tomatoes / beans
2 x bgty sausages (2)
Fat free yoghurt Banana

Lunch Apple & ham panini (10)

Dinner Sw chicken curry with rice

Syns 18 Total - 52/105

I had some wine last night, I've drank quite a lot this bank holiday, looking forward to a few days without any. So that takes my total Syns to 65/105

Day 3 - green today

Breakfast Milk (1a)
