So I decided to take on the scan bran challenge this week aka replace my heb with 5 scan bran but I'm struggling with what to put on it! Any ideas? I eat cottage cheese at the moment on them! Thanks in advance!

I usually wrap 3 of them in tasty slices of ham and make a big scan bran cake for the week with the rest and cut in to 1 scan bran sized slices - it does seem to boost weight loss!

Oooo ok I'm doing this as of tomorra! I've been Really bad and back on wagon now! Plus no bread in the house :) no intention of replacing it as it's my weakness!

Hopefully this damage limitation approach will really help

Fingers crossed

...how did you get on? Might do it in Jan to boost the weight loss after Christmas...

Ham cucumber and vegemite or i blitz them in food processor and have them for breakfast with hot milk. x

Does this really boost weight loss? 5 a day is it? x

I have been having 5 of these a day for my hex b, I just spread philly light on them or cottage cheese if I've already had hex a.

I also had a couple this morning with LF fromage frais and sliced strawberries on top, sprinkled with a bit of splenda.

I'm having my own scan bran challenge this week to hopefully lose more than 1lb!! Still having my cereal in the morning as it's easier and keeps me full till lunch, but I'm taking 5 scan bran to work with me everyday and will try various toppings! Today is fat free cottage cheese, tuna and sweetcorn...and got some cucumber and carrot sticks for my superfree! (end of the week and haven't been shopping yet, so using the dregs of the cupboard/fridge!!)

Here goes...hopefully I'll have a good weight loss next week! :D

I am on a scan bran challenge this week too so we can try together! I am taking one for the team! Whole group i go to is very interested and c says they really do boost weight loss so we shall see, I generally have good weight losses each week anyway so if it really does make a difference to me it will be an excellent advert for scan bran and the whole group will be converted! I am having mine so far with philly light or crushing up and adding to my yogurt. really not the best tasting things though are they!! Will try some of the recipies on here for them over weekend!
Good luck gemmiegem x

Hi. I have just started on this site and can't seem to get going, I feel lost. I have been on SW since Sept. they were doing 12 weeks free from our local borough so jumped at it. I am now doing it on my own. I will get there! I have some scan bran in my cupboard but haven't dared try it...lol. What does it taste like? I bought it to cook some cakes with. I think I may use them in some way this next week.

They don't taste of much really, quite cardboardy but I like them, if I'm having them as they come I have them with either sliced banana, philadelphia light or cottage cheese on top, you do need drink plenty with them as thay are pretty tough going - they give your jaw a really good work-out! I also often make cakes with them have done chocolate, banana, marmalade, christmas, carrot, also ginger - all nice - well I think so anyway :)

See that's what I ought it for cos I am a sweet tooth. When I used to go to SW classes we used to get try a little sample of cake, the curly wurly one is good. Going roller blading this afternoon with my daughter. That should burn a few calories....lol.
