    Scan bran cakes

Hi! I found a ton of cake recipes using scan bran like the curly wurly cake and carrot cake etc. I know that you can have a 5 scan bran as a HEb on EE but the recipes I've found seem to syn them. Could I still use them as a HEb in the recipe to lower the syn??

Yep but you would have to eat the whole thing on the same day for it to be used as your HEB. Sometimes its easier just to syn it

So I attempted a scan bran carrot cake.... Failed miserably! I didn't have any greaseproof paper so I fry lighted my cake tin but it stuck really bad, it also went really hard on top but kinda eggy tasting in the middle :-(

However I am currently eating the scrapings from the tin and nice bits that I salvaged from the cake all broken up in a bowl with Philly light that I added sweetener to mixed into it lol! Actually well nice :-)
