Special k cereal?
Just wondered if any of the special k cereals are a hex b? The app just says 4.5 syns a bowl? X
No - they aren't a HexB as they don't contain enough fibre.
Per 30g of cereal there is only 1.5g of fibre - and a portion size needs to have 3g of fibre to class as a HexB
Take care as well - the 4.5 syns is also only for a 25g portion, NOT 30g which is what you'll probably be having.
A 30g portion is actually 113 cals which is over 5.5 syns.

Hi ladies can you let me know which cereals are okay to have on SW? I currently have either porridge or weetabix? Thanks Ali x
Ali - there are far too many to list quickly on here, plus it is frowned on to post info like that as it breaks the SW copyright and the forum rules.
If you have online access you can see them all there.
Sorry I can't be of more help.

I am new to this forum I wasn't aware I had posted something that was breaking forum rules.
Thank you for making me aware of this.
SW don't mind forum members passing the odd bit of info to each other but they get very "twitchy" about members giving out wholesale info so that people who haven't paid to join could follow the plan.
There's a thread somewhere about it but I can't find it at the mo.
I'll link it in when I do.
*** UPDATE ***
Found the thread. It's here
http://www.minimins.com/slimming-wor...ification.html (Slimming World Copyright Clarification)
the relevant passage is
It's for that reason we also ask other companies/websites not to allow lists
of foods to be included on their website, including Free Foods, Healthy
Extras and Syns copied from the website or from the member book

The easiest thing is just to go browsing in this sub-forum - you will pick up info on lots of the cereals that can be used
