Help with healthy extras needed!

Hi everyone

I'm new to this and a little confused! I know I can have 2 Alpen light bars as a healthy extra, however do I have to eat both at the same time? I have been having one in the day and one at night with a yogurt but then when I looked in the book again it listed either 1 Alpen light bar or 2, so if I'm having them at different times does the first count as a HEB and the second a syn or does it not matter? I'm sorry if this sounds really thick, I actually feel embarrassed asking!

Many Thanks

The old 'style' Alpen lights are still a HE B...if you can still find them! They are the ones that are 70 cals each. The new recipe, the ones that aren't allowed, have 'new improved recipe' or something like that, written across the box.

However, in answer to your question, yes, you can split any Healthy Extras. So if, for instance, you had chosen to have 4 ryvita, you can eat them over the day, 1 or 2 at each sitting...its entirely up to you!

The reason there are two listings is shown in the symbols alongside them - there is enough fibre in one bar (or was in the old recipe lol) to count as a HEB on its own and for it to be a speed option, but if you have two bars then you get a double fibre boost :)

Thank you :) I've been out today and bought 4 boxes! They were on offer 2 for £3 in Tesco and I did think about getting more but £9 on Alpen seemed a bit extreme lol!
