Gluten Free Cereal

For last 6 months i've been off work ill...hospital finally decided last week to test my for coeliac, only is now i've ben forced to go gluten free i am struggling. I know I can have porridge oats still as long as they are "pure oats", and some brands of muesli. I've found a bread and crispbread that I can use as Healthy Extra, but i'm still struggling with cereals. I like a variety, i'm used to being able to alternate, porridge, weetabix, shreddies, muesli, chocolate shreddies, and now that I can't, I don't know what I can have instead. I am already bored of muesli! Are there any other gluten free cereals listed that can be used as Healthy Extras?

Oh and to add insult to injury... i'm now lactose intolerant too, so nothing that contains milk powder or whey products please :)

if you are gluten intolerant the book says you can use any gf cereal x

Does that include anything like the chocolate stars and cornflakes? Wouldn't have thought they would be high enough in fibre.

You can have kallo organic puffed rice cereal (30g i think) but I don't think you can eat any gf cereal as some are high in fat, calories and don't contain enough fibre. If you have access to their website you will see info on their. Also any gf porridge oats.

Hey Ally89, did you find a GF list? I'm new to the Gluten Free club and need a list of breads/cereals and weights of each for Hex b. Thanks in advance for any help at all..

Please be careful if you have coeliacs and are eating oats - a lot of people with coeliacs will also react to oats as the proteins are very similar
