Hi Everyone

I done slimming world a few years ago and am now trying to do it again.

Could someone give me an overview of the healthy extra options? I think they have changed since I done it.

  • How many of each A&B can I have?
  • Examples of A's
  • Examples of B's

Thanks in advance for your help :)

Jess

Hi :) I see this was posted a week a go so you've probably found out by now but thought I'd reply anyway.
Are you following extra easy or red and green days?
On EE you can have one A and one B choice.
On red/green you can have 1or2 A's and 2 B's.

Example of A choices:
Milk:
Skimmed 350ml
Semi skimmed 250ml
Whole 175ml

Cheese:
30g: cheddar, double Gloucester, emmental, Gouda, Red Leicester
45g mozzarella, feta
75g reduced fat/ light soft cheese
5 laughing cow light or 6 extra light
2 babybel or 3 light

Examples of b choices:
Cereals:
40g Kellogg's all bran
35g bite size shredded wheat
35g porridge oats

Bread:
60g of any wholemeal roll or bread
2 slices of bread from a (small) 400g loaf or 1 slice from an 800g loaf

4 ryvita dark rye/ original
30g bag of ryvita minis any flavour
2 weetabix
1 or 2 alpen light bars
1 Special K chewy delight bar

Hope that helps a bit x

Are there any HEX B's I can use that are not cereal or bread based? I have a wheat intolerance and stay well clear of anything 'grainy!'. I seem to recall that Olive Oil is a HEX B, but i'm not sure if this is still the case..?

Thank you

You can have 1tbsp of ex virgin olive oil
There's also nuts you can have: 20 whole shelled almonds, 6 whole Brazils, 12 whole cashews, 20 hazelnuts, 15 peanuts just to name a few. There's soups and cereals bars too? X

Awesome, don't know why but I didn't think about oil and I've been synning ex virgin olive oil and sometimes struggling to have my hex B. Doh
