    My 12st 7lbs Journey In Photos

    Hi my name is Jo I originally started SW in February 2014 but ended up taking a 10 week hiatus so I restarted on July 4th with a loss of 9lbs since then I have lost another 4lbs so I am currently at 13lbs. I decided to do this both for myself and for people wanting to see if SW does work. Hopefully you will gradually see the difference from month to month I personally do not see a difference yet which is why I'm doing this for me too.

    Sorry its so small...ironic really with me trying to get smaller lol

    This was taken 2 weeks before I originally started SW in February 2014 this was at my nieces birthday party on January 13th 2014.

    I like SW as many foods are unlimited so there is minimum weighing and I don't eat grain products so that allows me to fill up on lean meats, fruit and veg. I am only on day two (but have done SW before) and I am looking forward to the journey. I get excited thinking about getting on those scales and losing weight every week.

    I enjoy slimming world purely for the fact I don't have to cook 3 separate meals. I have a picky 2 year old so I am already cooking 2 different meals then my husband is one of those annoying people who eats and eats and eats and I put the weight on for him lol so he wouldn't be happy if I put him on a rabbit diet with SW I don't have to in fact since starting SW he's better fed lol. I love it and on other diets I've tried none of us were happy but we're all loving slimming world.

    I started at group in August 2013 and hated my consultant so decided to do it from home in October 2013 without anyone's help and I gained 16lbs and actually ended up weighing more than what my start weight was at SW group lol so I decided to try slimming world online and although I enjoy it I just had a recent 10 week blip and gained 6lbs which is nearly gone again but not the point so I contemplated going back to group but a different one but tbh I think group or not it would have happened just like I disappeared off of here for 10 weeks and off SW online for 10 weeks I probably just wouldn't have attended the meetings so I'm sticking with SW online and I've given myself and almighty kick in the bum and ready for some great losses now. And I love minimins I think its awesome to talk to people in the same situation as you and going through the same things as you and I found a group yesterday just for my weight bracket so I joined that thread and they are really nice and helpful and like me are working towards a huge loss.

    See I lost my weight on WWs but I'm going back 5/6 years but when I went back to WW they'd introduced propoints and my cousins had great success she's 5 1/2 stone lighter but I just couldn't get along with it and she actually tried to talk me out of slimming world as she'd never been successful but I love SW so much happier with SW than I ever was at WW. Good luck with losing the extra weight.
