13.5lbs down 31lbs to go to first goal

Try something different! A different HE, recipe, exercise, plan etc keep your body on its toes and stop yourself from getting bored!

I saw this tip earlier and thought it was fab.
On a night out ask for a straw with your drinks, then after each drink save the straw in your handbag then at the end of the night you know how many syns of vodka etc that you have had and won't lose count. x

lady at our group does similar.. puts a penny in her left pocket for all the drinks ( alcoholic ) she's allocated herself and each time she has one she transfers one penny from the left to the right pocket..
no more pennies means no more alcoholic drinks..
another similar tip is that if you drink spirits with a mixer, when it's your turn to buy ( or a close friend that you let in on the "secret" ), you simply substitute a glass of just the mixer and no one knows you're not drinking as much.. ( if you don't want to appear as a "lightweight" to your friends.. )

One of the girls in my group does that, and it works until one of your friends decides to sabotage it and throw loads of straws into the handbag!! LolOriginally Posted by MrsWilsoncroft

Sprinkle SW wedges/chips with an oxo cube helps them go crispy. Also if you are putting spices on them mix your spices in a sandwich/freezer bag then put the wedges in & shake. The chips/wedges are covered with spice evenly.

Great thread peeps.
My tip is have your tea/coffee black so you can use your milk allowance for cheese instead. My need for cheese is higher than my need for white coffee. I know it wont suit everyone.
week1-week 57 total lost 62.5lbs
counting the half stones
7 7 7 7 7 7 7 7

I can live without cheese now.. I used to get through a big block every week with 4 pieces of cheese on thick toast or a grilled cheese sandwich one of my favourites..
Find a clear / opaque container for your milk, measure your allowance into it and mark the container with a permanent marker so you don't have to use a measuring jug every time..
you can even mark it for the different allowances for full, semi or skimmed..

Love all these tips, before I go shopping I make a list of meals for the week and what I need for each meal, then on my shopping list I put the date I plan to use it next to each fresh item so I can make sure fruit, veg and meat will still be in date for the day I plan to use it! I have also started walking to group, it's 5 miles from my house and I have to push my little boy in his buggy so that has got to burn some calories!!! x
