    Daily Thread ??

    Hi , I have just swapped from CD and on the CD board we did daily threads where we all talked about what we were up to today , diet related and non diet realted , just a basic chatty thread ever morning with lots of support ...I wondered if anyone wuld be interested in taking part ?? I dont want to start a daily thread if no one is going to be 'into it ' , let me know what ya think

    Hello!
    I'm having quite a productive day. Wedding save the date are done, then queued at the post office - so now they are posted too!
    Meal plan for the week finished, followed by a HUGE Tesco shop! (my cupboards were bare - now they are fit to bursting!)
    Been to a shop to quality check dresses as a potential bridesmaid supplier. More than happy (really cheap too!) so now I have fabric swatches - which I'm far too excited about!
    Now into making dinner. Going to try Britmom's chilling and corriander meatballs. First time I've cooked for months - so looking forward to it! (that, and I bought a Kenwood mini chopper aka Delia's cheat recommendation - and I've not had a chance to use it yet!)

    Today I had a lie in, cycled to Aldi & Sainsbury's. Then made a skirt for work but now think it's too short but it does have the option of a flounce so think I'll add that to it. The watch US biggest loser. Tea is now cooking & then MiL will arrive with her usual bottle of wine & chocs So it's a big syn day for me.

    Jayellekay ..hey how are you finding it coming here from the dark side ?? My fridge is always totally rammed full now I am on SW and I seem to go through mushrooms at an alarming rate !! when is your first WI ??

    Happy Holidays , I would love to be able to make clothes , but I am rubbish at anything creative !!

    I have had a good day so far , was on nights last night so had a few hours kip this morning , and tonight I am off out with my work mates for the first time , I ummmed and arrrred for days and decided to be good and drive so its diet coke for me .. but need to be good my first week on SW at least !!!! I popped out to get some trousers for tonight ,( as none of my black trousers fit any more ) and ended up with 2 new tops too .. so now to decide what to wear !!!!

    First WI on Tuesday. Fingers crossed for (a hopeful) STS! Home scales currently showing a three quarters of a pound gain - do hoping that's about right. That would be amazing!

    So an update - the Kenwood mini chopper is AMAZING!!!!!!!!! How did I ever live without one of these!!??!!??!??!

    I've also chopped up the cedar I got this morning into HEXA portion size( a tip I read on here) so no more weighing in the kitchen for ke this week!

    Well done Determinator on the shrinking! Enjoy tonight!

Am off on monday & hubby & me are thinking of going walking in the yorkshire dales at malham. Just looking up about it on the net as never been

    The sw boards work different to many others. In fact its probably unique on Minimins. The main forum is for sw related things and believe me people are very keen to keep it that way.

    A general chat thread would definitely be off topic as its not SW or even diet related.

    But you'll get just as much interest in here

    Well after work yesterday, I woke up this morning and cracked on with the housework, then went out with Kev to see a gothic art exhibition at the Brewhouse Art Centre, very good, some of the artwork was a bit pricey compared to that we have in the pub... Just about to have the butterbean burgers, from the new magazine...
