Thread: Getting married

When we got married in 1968 we had no money as we had just bought a house. We used the local Church Hall and a family friend made us the wedding cake and friends and relatives made the food and provided the drink, as other have said, it's your day, you are the main attraction, not the cost of the wedding!
As something different can't you get your fellow SW members to make the food, an interesting twist from the usual drumsticks, sandwiches etc.

Hi! You are probably better to reply to the post itself rather than starting a new thread otherwise people won't know what you are referring to - I'm assuming here you are responding to the poster who was down because her wedding was low budget?
