Newbie to Slimming World..

Hi all!

I've just started the diet today due to a big kick up the backside. I started University in September and left home ever so slightly overweight and I've come back to have put on a stone. I feel quite disgusted with myself (I know, a little dramatic!).
I'm 4"11 and weight 10 stone 6 (and a half?) which is 146 pounds. For a small girl, I feel quite dumpy being this weight. So I'm starting the diet today. I wanted to know if 8 stone 7 (119 pounds) is an unrealistic goal weight for next year (during the summer time). I'm 18 and have never been on a diet in my life. This is quite daunting!
 
Hiya! Welcome in. Seems perfectly reasonable as a goal weight to me! It may seem a little overwhelming at first, but you'll soon get the hang of it, and you picked the absolute best plan for doing so without it ever needing to feel like you are on a diet!

Any questions you have ask, no matter how daft you might think they are, chances are they aren't daft at all and everyone here is very supportive and will help where they can. Most questions will have been asked before at some point, so also feel free to use the search feature to see if there's already answers out there!
