Green Tea Warning (kinda medical:Thyroid)
don't overdo it if you have a thryoid condition. it contains fluoride, which should be limited so as to not adversely affect those with Hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid)
a single cup a day wont hurt, but any more may begin to affect your absorption of thyroxine and therefore adversely affect your weight loss.
there appear to be no bad effects for those with hyperthyroidism (overactive) unless they're drinking loads (it still contains caffeine which as we all now is a stimulant), or for anyone else.
also with underactive thyroid you should limit your intake of soya and agar agar for the same reason. for instance, if like me you have to lead a relatively dairy free existence, you can have that soya latte, or you can have a tofu pudding in one day, but not both. Edamame beans are included in this warning as they're fresh soya beans.
love to all. I'm not a doctor, but these were warnings given to me by mine when I saw her for a dieting/hormone level update.
