    Freaky Food Combinations!

    Dear SW Group

I don't care what you say. Chocolate flavoured cream cheese is JUST.PLAIN.WRONG.

And FYI - spreading some Chocolate philly on some ryvita is not making an effort for food tasters. I would rather you did not bother what with the Chocolate Philly being 4.5 a tiny tub & - just in case you missed it the first time. JUST.PLAIN. WRONG.

STOP going on about it on FB like its the reinvention of the wheel.

    That is all.........

I quite agree, but would like to add the chocolate flavoured cereals the worst of which is the chocolate shredded wheat! Chocolate spread is also disgusting.
What next Chocolate flavoured bread? mmm nice with a ham sarnie NOT!
I'm sure people aren't so pathetic that they need everything flavoured with blimmin chocolate to make it palatable!!!!

    Begging to differ, just slightly:
    Chocolate spread is awesome.

But that's making a specific decision to have something chocolate flavoured on bread, in the same way that I could choose peanut butter, or strawberry jam, or whatever.

But flavouring things with chocolate - I agree, that's wrong.
    Chocolate cereal? Yuk.
    Chocolate milk? Double yuk.
So I confidently expect to feel the same about Chocolate Philly. Although I haven't tried it yet...

Hate to break it to you but you can already buy chocolate bread. Well, its bread with chocolate chip type things in it. AND ITS FAB. It would be ridiculous to have it with ham in but it makes a quite splendid nutella buttie! :P

ETA Whilst I initially thought Chocolate Philly was fab, I have gone off it.

Exactly. The only thing you should add to a bacon sandwich is more bacon. Or maybe a fried egg.

and Shirleen - Chocolate Milk - seriously girl? & I thought you were one of the good guys

While it sounds just plain WRONG, I'm firmly in the "don't knock it till you've tried it" brigade.

Also, I like chocolate cheesecake, so I can't really moan.

I'll give it a go before I lay down the law on the subject!

ETA - this was about Chocolate Philly.
Not chocolate milk, bourbons, or sauces on bacon butties!
