Thread: Recurrent dreams

For the last 2 weeks almost every night I keep having the same dream.

I can't remember all the details but know its the same & my Granny is in it. I just wake up & think oh a dream about Granny again. She died 17 years ago.

So do dreams have a meaning? If so what would my dream mean?

Any dream experts out there...

That your granny is trying to send you a message? I know that sounds daft but if you're a believer in that sort of stuff it might be. I dont know enough about it but I'm guessing x

Yep I'd agree granny is trying to send you a message. Relax & try & think about the dream. If you can remember something more it may all fall together & make sense.

Remember my cat who died last year, well he comes to visit me in my dreams, it gives me a warm comforting feeling.

I keep Hoping that when I have things like this of my Grandad that he'll send the lotto numbers to me like he promised he would, not happened yet though.

C'mon grandad after nearly 9 years I'd have thought you'd have it figured out by now. Love you!! Xxx

What does Granny represent? Was she a comfort giver? A straight talker? How did you feel around her?

Do you need comfort? Do you need advice? Do you need to make changes in your life that Granny would approve of?

Or is there a health issue that Granny had that you need to address?

I've read that character traits skip generations so you may be more Like your Granny than your mum/dad, so it might be that you need to look to her life to make sense of yours.

Or maybe your parent needs you right now, granny looked after them, maybe just check they're ok.

My Granny would straight talk & tell u how things should be. I was very close to her. She died of cancer.

Think u could be right she's trying to steer me in the right direction...

I lost my first cat a few years ago and I always remember dreaming about him a few days after. He was in a lovely sunny place and it gave me the same feeling you had Michelle.

I'm not in the least bit religious or a believer in the after-life, but often wish I was when I see the comfort it gives some people to "believe".

But strange things do happen and we shouldn't completely dismiss them. Wise words (as always) from Shirleen.

Just after he died, I dreamt about him & in my dream I stroked him, I honestly felt his fur. It was almost real, it was all a very nice feeling.

I'm not religious either, but I do believe in the afterlife.

When I had a miscarriage years ago I dreamt I held my little girl, I could even smell her, in fact I could smell her the next day too. Probably because I'm daft but I believe God gave me this moment with my baby, I know I'll see her again, just as I KNOW she was a girl.

I'll wait outside for the White coats!

I'd really love to believe in the afterlife, but I have too many "tricky" questions, like with finding love again after being widowed, or an abusive partner who confesses and gains absolution on his deathbed. I mean, in the first case, who would you be reunited with? I can't believe a ménage à trois would be sanctioned in Heaven And in the second example, what if you don't want to be reunited with a certain person? Probably best I don't believe

I don't personally know what you're going through but I can assure you my best friend defo does having delivered her babies yesterday at 26 weeks after losing them

I'm just trying to be there for her x
