    Feeling down...

I know, I did something bad. I went on the scales last night. I should just take the darned batteries out.
ok, I had a blow out saturday, got to 40 syns. I was expecting it, and I've compensated for the rest of the week but my over optimistic scales say I've only lost 2lbs. normally they're about 1lb better than my SW scales, which meand I've either lost 1lb or sts.
I have WI tonight and I'm feeling nervous and freaked out and angry and upset and yes! I know! using the scales is baaad mmkay?!

I'm sick of being a slow loser. how can I speed it up without sending my body into starvation shock?!

oh, and my syns for this week
    last thurs: 10.5
    fri:8.5
sat: let's say 45 to be overly cautious
    sun: 7.5
    mon:4
    tues:7
    and whatever I have today.

aww.... you need to remember the kind words you put on someone elses post yeaterday , who was feeling very similar to you

" Keep Calm and Carry On " - I can't do the picture like you did though cos I'm a luddite !!

we're all going to have blips and need to draw the occasional line in the sand and carry on...we're in this for the long game though I feel for your frustration at being a slow loser if this is how you feel.

I just remember that someone told me that the slower you lose it the better it is for your skin to return to normal ( or as normal as it gets ) and the more likely it is to stay off. I don't know how true that is but it's going to help me on my slow weeks.

as someone has on their profile - a pound a week for a year is 3.5 stones. That's not to shabby in the long run is it

    hug xx

they're lovely! but they take longer to cook than I expected, worth it though. I drained a tin, chucked them in a tray, added 1/2 tsp smoked paprika, 1.2 tsp cumin, 1/2 tsp coriander (ground) and a veg oxo cube and shook til they were coated, then baked. they took about an hour, but I checked them loads because I didn't want to do what I did with my first batch of lasagne crisps and burn the lot lol.
they're fab. I am a massive fan of soy nuts, and these are similar.

they're cooked chickpeas. they should only be synned on a red day.

    also:

    (in particular, BritMumInCanada's post)

and I had them with my toast and fruit for breakfast. does that count as part of a meal?

If they're baked in the oven & eaten as a snack, they're not classed as free food but as syns. It's all to do with free food abuse

lol, that's ok hahaha. if it helps they were on the same plate as my toast and fruit, but only cos I'd not done last night's washing up yet lol.
I ate late as I'd had a bad morning before the school run with minime. 8:25 and she'd still got no socks on so I spent this morning trying to force feed her and dress her lol.

she's got to come to group with me tonight. I'm dreading it!!! I'm gonna take her homework with me.

I know, I kinda figured that when I chose to flexi this week. I'm just finding slow weight loss hard.

I have a short attention span lol.
