What are you wearing today?

Whether this catches on or not, I don't know! Seen it on another forum and thought I'd bring it over as I love to see what other people are wearing.

So, as it says on the tin! Today I'm wearing green/blue tights, black top and a red festive skirt :D

Love that skirt! I have a black and white tunic, black leggings and my faithful, never off my feet, Uggs!!!

I'm wearing my dressing gown, just sitting and having a little cry because I've just realised I'm too big to fit in any of my nice dresses and I'm supposed to be going out to a dressy do tonight, and now I'm going to have red eyes as well as rubbish hair and rubbish clothes.

:(

Denim skinny jeans, ugg boots and a hoodie!

Later - black high waisted jeans and a cream blouse ( heading out for dinner with husband).

More big hugs for you from me my love. We have all been there but you are on the right road so it won't happen again :)

Trying to quote Lucky but it won't let me :( even more hugs from me, sorry to hear your feeling like that, its rubbish, but I'm sure you'll look great whatever you end up wearing.

I'm wearing a cream jumper, jeans from my auntie (which I'm very happy I fit in) and a pink and silver scarf.... will take a pic in a bit

Thanks for the virtual hugs and support ladies. Had another little moment after doing hair and make-up remembering something my nan said to me when I'd been dolled up to be a bridesmaid when I was little (which I'd found a little traumatic) - "All that fuss and you still look the worst of the lot." Really stung at the time (and still does a bit, even though she's been dead for years), and then I got told off by my parents for being shy and mopey, which was unlike me. Why would anyone say anything that unkind to any little girl, I don't understand. No use dwelling though. She was out of order - and one of us had to look the worst of the lot I suppose. *Wry smile*

OK - trying to get a grip. It's a burlesque night. People will only really be interested in what they themselves look like if past experience is anything to go by. Have put on black sparkle short sleeve sweater and black shorts with bright red belt, cherry necklace, lipstick and nails. Hair curls (as Monroe as I could manage). Finishing off with faux fur jacket and black t-bar shoes with a little platform on them. I'll just have to do. The important thing is to enjoy my time with my friends and not being a misery-guts. (Maybe should have got some fishnets or seamed tights but not in the mood to trawl to Asda or M&S, and have had an accident prone last couple of days so would probably only put my fingers through them when I go to the loo or something). Starting to think I might be coming down with something as haven't stopped flippin' sneezing all day either, and it's unlike me to be this un-entheusiastic about getting done up for a night out.

Lucky go out and have a fab night hun - you have given yourself a slap and are now positive thinking. You are right you are with friends and if they are true friends they will tell you how good you look (even if you are feeling shyte) . Hopefully this will be the last time you feel the way you did earlier, we have all been there im sure but were all on the right track now.

Your nan is looking down on you now with pride - people can say some hurtful things but it doesn't mean they love you any less, im sure she loved you despite saying something like she did. Have a great night xx

Sounds like something my Grandma would have said to be honest :/

Your outfit sounds fab btw, I'm sure you look great

I'm wearing sloth chic at the moment...scruffy jogging bottoms and a Wales rugby shirt! Have no fear though, I will be getting dressed to go out later in a black lacy dress, red tights and black high heels. Oh, and the following mask as I'm going to a masked party!! :D

Lucky, you are fabulous, you are great, you will look amazing...........now believe it , be happy and enjoy !!!! That is an order.

I am delighted to report I was wearing jeans that I can pull down without unzipping them.

Now I am home from a long day at work and am in my fleecy jimjams and dressing gown and feeling snug and warm.

Lucky your outfit sounds fab and I wish I could wear such things! Hope you have a great time I'd be intrigued to see a burlesque night lol
I went for some black trousers and a silvery grey flecked top I got from asda the other day. I'm not sure about the top as I think it makes me look pregnant or maybe its my big belly that does that lol
They don't have cchanging rooms at our asda and I don't think I would have bought it if they had lol

Everyone's party outfits sound lovely! Well jealous as I sit in Starbucks again for another day of report writing.

Comfy clothes for me - light blue flares, navy and black striped long sleeve, red and white stripy scarf, red flats.

Scruffy tracky bottoms, a green day hoody & big fluffy slipper boots - Sundays are lazy days in my house & that's as dressed as I'm going to get lol x
