Thread: Hungry? Starving?

We all say it, don't we - gosh I am so hungry; it's nearly teatime and I am starving.

Well, this week I had to have some tests at the doctors, and had to have fasted for 12 hours beforehand. And as I was going out at 6 p.m. and didn't get back until 11 p.m. and there was no opportunity to eat while I was out, I went from 5.30 p.m. with only a few sips of water to take my medication. By the time I had the tests and got out of there and got something to eat, it was about 10.30 a.m.

NOW I know what hungry actually is! And next time I feel like moaning about being starving when what I really mean is that I fancy something to eat, I hope I will remember to shut up!!

Having to fast is bad enough, but what about the audible rumbles in the tum when they're doing said tests
