    JANUARY EXERCISE MOTIVATOR

    I'm not great at exercising unless I have someone to do it with or a target to reach. This is January's exercise motivator where we can each log our exercise. You can also set a personal target if you wish. Any exercise, even 10 minutes, is better than nothing, and having the exercise motivator threads for October, November and December definitely upped my exercise.

    It can be any type of exercise you want. Some of you might cycle, swim or go to the gym or exercise classes. Or you could use wii or xbox exercise routines etc, walk the dog, jog or play sport, which could all be rolled into your exercise. Even energetic gardening or housework or playing outdoor games with your children could be included.

    You can be doing any diet, or none. This is just about the exercise we do.

    The reason for the thread is to keep us motivated, somewhere to record our exercise and see what others are doing. For people like me who are motivated and challenged by targets you can also set a target if you wish.

    Anyone can join, just copy the list to your post and add your name to the bottom.

    To keep the most recent participants, targets and updates, copy the most recent posted list to the end of your post and update any exercise you've done.

    ooh - I will join. Need to get remotivated after a Christmas slump. I finished the 30 day shred shortly before Christmas and that kept me going very nicely for 6 weeks (at 5 shreds a week). I would like to kill two birds with one stone next month though and up my dog walking. Also intend to throw in some 10 minute solution toning dvds. I did very nearly buy another exercise dvd but will save that maybe for after half term.

    I will aim for sw gold standard so 2.5 hours per week with a slowish start and a part week at the end of the month I will go for a total of 10 hours. Good luck to everyone.

    BMI Information:
    I didn't do much towards the end of December but I'm well up for it in January! My classes start again this week with kettle bells on Thursday (hopefully, poor instructor had to cancel last week as he put status on Facebook and nobody commented I was up for it!) Zumba starts again in Monday night so I'm gonna be in top form for January!

    I wasnt around in December so not seen this before, do we set a target for each week? thank you x
    Goal for 2013... lose 70lbs 20lbs lost-50lbs to go
    Jan to April -12lbs
    May -8lbs

    Hi,

    Some people set a monthly target, others prefer not to set a target and just record their exercise. I tend to set a target, and mine for January is 20 hours. At this time of year, at least half of my exercise is walking, so others who are doing more strenuous exercise might set a lower target for the month.
