Zeo

The new Zeo drinks are being advertised all the time on television, and also being pushed by product placement in Big Brother, but does anyone know where you can buy them?

According to their website, they are available from Harvey Nichols (no help to me!), Ocado (hence the BB placement, but I don't get groceries delivered), or from an online retailer.

I would have thought that since they are spending so much on adverts, it would be more widely available than that. Anyone seen it anywhere? thanks

According to The Grocer magazine this drink is produced by a new company which "is on the verge of securing listings with mainstream retailers". That was in May, so it would appear that you can expect to see it in other places soon, but it's not on a couple of the supermarket websites I've checked.

The rsp is £2.95/275ml and there are 60kcal in each bottle.

Rather expensive, but I would like to try it. Seems odd to be pushing it when there is no mainstream source for it.

As Ocado are doing it I rather expected Waitrose to have it, but apparently not.

I'll keep looking . . . .

When I heard Gina asking for a Zeo drink last week, I had no idea what she was talking about! It's piqued my interest so sadly product placement obviously :party0027:works

I saw it on BB too and then I tried it in Westfield Stratford, they were doing free opi manicures and letting us try it, soooo nice! The girl who did my nails said it's gonna be in WH Smith soon and said I should request it at sainsers online so they stock it. Worth a try?!

I saw that but didn't want to buy a dozen bottles in case I don't like it. But thanks for thinking of me.

I just checked the Zeo website again, and put in my postcode. There is now a cafe-bar very close to me which sells it, so I can try it there. And oddly, according to the map on the website, W H Smiths in Reading Station sells it. Doesn't seem to fit with the image they are trying to portray!

I don't know whether you ever found any to try, or if you did , if you enjoyed it. However, I picked up the March/April issue of The Co-operative Food magazine in store today and it has a voucher in giving 50p off a pack of 4 bottles, valid 14/4 - 13/5, so I guess that means the Co-Op is selling it!

Stumbled across this thread... apparently it's now for sale in Tesco too

Yaaaay!! Thank you . Did try the Co-op, but the branches near me are very small and they don't have a huge range. But there is a big Tesco near here and I can go tomorrow.

It looks like it will taste quite nice... are they free on SW?

I don't think so as, according to the website they do have a 'low level' of sugar, although they also use Stevia to sweeten. Really wish they'd put the actual calories count, but I did find one review which said 60 cal a bottle - so 3 Syns.

It's so easy to thinkk 'Zeo' = 'Zero', isn't it!

I have just had the Peach and Grapefruit one (Yes!! finally got some!!) and the bottle (275ml) says it is 30 calories. I think some of the other flavours might be a little more.

And after all that fuss? OK they are quite nice, but not that special!

My local pub stocks them and we had a bit of a tasting session. They're all pretty bland - def not worth the pennies in my opinion (ended up buying the landlord a couple of bottles of sugar free squash so that I can buy that instead for a syn free thirst-quencher - much nicer).

Feel a bit silly now for having made such an effort to find them!! They are OK, I will drink them, but I was expecting something a bit more special.

Good packaging isn't it. I got a bit excited at the new low sugar drink on the shelf as well when they turned up. I was just pleased the landlord let us share a bottle of each when he got them in. He's doing no alcohol for Lent himself, and I've noticed he prefers my no sugar added grapefruit squash to his own Zeo drinks as well (although he wishes it wasn't so pink) lol.
