Why are you HERE?

lickthelid

Lives here....
It occurred to me today, when nipping for a wee, that toilet cubicles with those plastic receptacles for "lady products" (sorry boys) were not designed for people with thighs. I WANT TO WEE WITHOUT IT DIGGING IN TO MY LEG.

I'd be interested to hear the weird and whacky things you look forward to when target is obtained (or enjoy if there already). Not the usual stuff that we all want, good health, smaller clothes etc.

ok....you go!

One of my first goals was to slide down the slide at the local park. I had tried it and I was to wide to do it. Goal achieved end of last summer :)

My main one is walking between tables in a restaurant without the fear of tossing someone's dinner on the floor with my butt, or having to move empty chairs out of my way to get through.

It's not fun when you're following someone smaller to your seat, and realise that the gap they've just gone through won't allow for your girth!

I'd like to get rid of my bum shelf so cardigans, jumpers and tops don't "settle" there. You know, bum shelf.... :)

To be able to bend down to cut my toenails/wax my legs without saying 'oof' and feeling extremely uncomfortable.

Alton towers,
aeroplane seatbelts,
turnstiles,
rub patches on my trousers at thighs,
family and night out photographs
No full body photographs
Double boobage
BACK boobage
Side boobage
No short or sleeveless tops
Bum shelf
Cankles

And my personal most hated remark ....

"YOU REALLY ARE BEAUTIFUL... YOU HAVE A BEAUTIFUL FACE!!"

Grrrrr :)

Not to look at of myself and want to vomit.
To know if someone is looking at me its NOT because I'm fat, ugly, knickers in skirt ok but not fat!!

Being able to stand up out of a chair and know it's not coming with me is great. And those chair-with-a-desk-attachment things, I used to get stuck in those, or they'd prod into me. And the door to the toilet on National Express coaches, and once I got my bum stuck in a patient's Zimmer frame (reversed into it.) At least now I'm just clumsy, not fat and clumsy!

I just had to say WOW! Your stats are incredible!!! You've done so amazingly well - congratulations :)

As for this thread... I can't wait to go on holidays and be able to wear shorts without getting that awful friction rash at the top of my legs where they rub together! :( x

I'm here because of a few things!
I've never ever owned a bikini and in the 6 years me and my OH have been together we've never been abroad on holiday. So i'd like him to be proud to be seen with me.
Also more tattoos, i daren't get more because i don't want to bare flesh to the artists in case they laugh.

Also not being too wide for chairs, toilets, changing rooms, not having an overhang belly!!

we can all do it! <3

I really want to be happy with my graduation picture (next may)

Oh, I HATE that! So painful and it really ruins your day, you just want to get home and sit down. I had to buy some 'comfort shorts' from Sloggi to wear under skirts. I heard though that actually some thin people get this too and it's more about the way our hips are aligned - but losing weight must help.

So what you're saying is there's no hope even if I'm skinny?! :giggle:

I guess that could be true and at 5"2 with quite a small frame maybe I am damned for all eternity!! I live in hope :) xx
