DOROT garlic cubes

For some time I have been buying little cubes of frozen garlic, ginger and chilli in little red trays, rather like mini ice-cube trays, from Tesco. They were made by DOROT and the trays were red.

They were great for someone like me, cooking for one, because I could just use a small amount.

Tesco have now stopped selling them. They are doing something similar in little boxes, but I liked those cubes!!

Has anyone seen them anywhere else?

I think sainsburys do them... I've never bought them but at my sainsburys they have them with the frozen mushroom and onions etc. I like that corner of frozen, lazy cooking, perfect! Haha.

Just checked their website and sainsburys (and Booths??) are their only listed uk stockists. I KNEW they were red that Id seen! May try them myself

Oh that's great, thank you. I don't usually go to Sainsburys but will definitely make a special trip to stock up. They are so easy to use. I was always chucking out garlic and chillis because I only ever use a small amount and the rest goes off before I can use it.

Asda do frozen cubes of garlic, chilli & ginger, but not too sure of the make though.

My Sainsburys has just stopped selling these. They're so handy. Hoping it's just temporary to make room for Christmas stuff.

I got some garlic ones in asda last week red tray although I'm yet to try them but yes defiantly asda ;-) X
