How much did you lose in you first week of SW?

I started slimming world last week and I lost 3lbs, if I'm honest I was a little disheartened because I often see lot of people having a huge losses in their first week, my friend who recommended it to me lost about half a stone. I hope that a loss of 3lbs doesn't mean that it will be really slow for me :(
obviously on any other week I would be absolutely thrilled with a 3lb loss, just I thought I might have done better on the first week,
maybe that's just some misconception on my part, I guess I am a bit closer to target than a lot of people, maybe that impacts it. I don't know, meh.
 
I lost 4lbs in my first week. Years ago I lost 7lbs when i started but i think i had a bigger loss because I had been eating so much rubbish before I started. This time round I think I was eating healthier in general beforehand so less crap to get out of my system maybe.
 
I lost 2.5 pounds. I think IMO that people get a bit hung up on thus great first week yes you are Kurd likely to get a big weight because it's water etc, but at the end if the day it's keep going that counts. People may lose 7 land first week then not carry on or you could lose 2.5 carry on and in two years have lost 4 stone I know which one I would rather have.
Well done on your loss it's a great loss
 
You can't compare yourself with anyone else, because we are all so different. There is no formula which everyone follows.

And you change too. You aren't the person you were six months ago, or a year, or five years. So you can't compare yourself with her either!
 
I lost 6.5lbs but I've heard a lot of people find their second week is better than their first.

Yeah, thinking about it, my diet was relatively healthy before I started slimming world, I guess if my diet had changed drastically I may have lost more. :)

In retrospect I'm really happy with my loss and hope I have many more to come :D well done everyone on your achievements xxx
 
1/2lb. I was gutted as I had absolutely given it 100% and had completely changed my diet. Stuck to it for another week and lost 6lb week 2
 
I Lost 6lb My first week got week 2 Weigh in wed!

I put on .5 pound. Lost that the next week. Then had 3 good losses amounting to 9lb

I lost 3lbs in my first week and was pretty happy as it feels middle of the road to me and if I could lose this every week I'd be over the moon! Have lost 2lbs my second week but fell off the band wagon a couple of times!xx

That's the same as me! Well done :) I've started doing more exercise this week (daily jog and strength exercises - squats, push-ups, sit-ups, bridges, tricep dips and bicep curls with dumbbells), it's making me feel better about myself, I hope it shows on my next weigh in on Tuesday.

Me too! Have gone back to my HIT training this week so hoping that makes a difference next week! And it's the only exercise that gives me the 'rush' so I love it. Will do, you too!x
