After a bad day!!!

As anyone got any advice on what's best to do after a bad day (Sunday lunch cooked by your mother with a few glasses of wine) :( can I redeem myself going syn-less for a couple of days or just see it as a blip?

You will get advice from both camps. Some will say to write it off, we all do it, don't cut back and feel deprived but be prepared for a small gain or an STS. Others will say cut back your syns, we all do it, eat plenty of free and superfree to avoid feeling deprived and be prepared for a small gain or an STS.

Its whatever works for you and can depend upon a few things such as just how bad you think you were, how close (or far away) you are to WI and how well you can function on reduced syns. Life doesn't stop for SW and it's the long term that counts. Did you enjoy it, was it worth it, that's all much more important in my book :)

p.s I ALWAYS cut back personally but that's just me and I know I can do it without too much suffering ;)

Thank you for your wise words and taking the time to respond, I've kept syns low today and will continue till weigh in and hopefully the scales will be kind-

Hi!

I'd try and have low syn days afterwards, I do find it almost impossible to have a syn free day though x

Thank you little - am trying and not using my syns (just milk splash a couple of times) but my uniform is still bursting at the seams so don't think they'll be any losses in that area lol

Never mind - in future I must have more willpower and avoid my mothers home on a Sunday!!! X

Sadly first week weigh-in and maintained- jumped off the scales and scurried home! Oh well - fingers crossed for next week!!

I know happy I should have - I think as it was a new group setting i didn't have the nerve- .....next week ;) , and still really motivated to persevere x I'll post my meals onto food diary thread to ensure I'm not making any major errors x
