Too fat to work..

Did anyone see this couple on This Morning earlier? The guy said he had tried Slimming World in the past but his body kept telling him he was hungry so it didn't work. There's a programme on about them and others in the same position tonight at 9pm on Channel 5 x

Didnt see that but saw the programme the other evening called "Benefits - too fat to work". The fact that after attending a slimming club session they got kebabs for tea. Used 2 packs of mince to make huge spag bols for themselves.........

The fact was they are both fat because they dont take responsibility for the fact that they eat *****. There were others on the programme too and they just annoyed the hell out of me. Anyones fault but there own

Completely agree - there seemed to be no medical reason why they were over weight, however they believed they had earned theirs benefits arrrrgh

remove benefits and give them a food parcel this would resolve their weight issues........

I got annoyed about it because it really is just significant amounts of will power and patience and they just didn't want to put the effort in

It gives all fat people a bad name, thats what annoys me! Gives the illusion that were all benefit-scrounging-nhs-draining-lazy idiots. Which is certainly not true, I would say people with attitudes like theirs are the minority!

I hate when people use their weight as an excuse. At my heaviest I was 19st and I am only 5ft2. I have never stopped working tho and always had jobs where I wasn't sat at a desk all day! If you are overweight it is your job to do something about it. Why should other people pay for you to carry on putting on weight?
