Beef Stroganoff

You know, I have some left over mince. I think I will be trying this sauce with the mince and see how I go. It may be a flop but it may also be very nice! :D We will see at about 8pm tonight. Thanks for sharing xx

I think it will go lovely with mince. Cooking the mushrooms and onion in the stock as I have put above, really gives it all a yummy flavour.

Let me know how it goes, if you do it ;)

Oh my gosh it was devine!!!

I have just enough for lunch tomorrow too xx

I'd never have thought about using mince - definitely one for the list next week )

Yum yum - delicious. I have just made this for my dinner, and normally when I make things from scratch, they don't taste as nice as the Schwartz powder mixes!!

One question - I removed from the heat, mixed some in with my yogurt then added the yogurt, but it ended up a bit too cool for our liking - we like our meals really hot. How do you make it stay warm? Could I put it back on a low heat once the yogurt had been added without it curdling??

Thanks for posting such a great recipe - trying your chicken curry later on in the week.

yep you could add it onto a low heat, but make sure you take the yoghurt out of the fridge and few hours before, or bring the yoghurt to a similar temp as the dish, by add a few spoonfuls of the juice to the yoghurt before stirring it in. This should prevent it splitting.

Can't see the picture ... oh just got it on your website! This is what I've been searching for, the recipe I had called for tin tomatoes & I wasn't sure about this!

Really looking forward to this tomorrow. Thanks x

hmmm not sure what happened to the picture, it was there before.

Will try and re add it. I think it might of been because I slightly improved the recipe, so deleted the old pic and added a new one.

Trying this for dinner tonight :)
