    Smoked sausage wonderpot EE/Red

    Ingredients

    Improved Recipe- 30/01/11

    Serves 4 - 2 Syns per serving extra easy

    Mattesons reduced fat smoked sausage sliced thinly.
    Tescos healthy eating lean smoked bacon diced
    300g Mushrooms sliced SF
    Lrg onion chopped SF
    3 Carrots finely diced SF
    400g carton passata SF
    Tin baked beans H SS F
    150ml vegetable stock
    Generous Sprinkle Italian herbs
    Pinch Chilli Flakes.
    2 Cloves Garlic crushed
    Salt and pepper to taste
    Dash Worcestershire sauce

    Potatoes - to be cooked for mashing
    85ml vegetable stock (mash into the potatoes with seasoning to taste)

    Very easy to cook, cook the onion, mushrooms and Carrots, in the veggie stock and the herbs and spices, until it begins to reduce, then add the sausage and bacon, and cook until cooked through, then add the rest of the ingredients, and cook while you wait for your potatoes to cook on a medium simmering heat.

    Serve with your mashed potatoes and and two/three superfree vegetable's of your choice.

    SF= Super free
    Baked beans are a superspeed food

    On a red day you could have your potatoes as a baked potatoe and Baked beans as a healthy extra B

    That looks really tasty and filling. May have to swap the veg stock in the mash with a laughing cow cheese triangle though. Not keen on veg stock for some reason. Thanks for the photos and recipe. Will try that next week x



    Back to slimming world EE plan. Lost 16 lb earlier in the year but ive somehow managed to regain 10 lb

    It is lovely and comforting and has a lovely smoked flavour, its always a big hit with my family.

    I have made it for years, and just substituted the sausage with the reduced fat version instead

    Its good to use with pasta as well, minus the baked beans, and add some Italian seasoning, and add diced carrots and finely sliced celery. YUMMY!
