Quiche Like Snack

Syn Free on a green day!

I have been on and off SW for a while now and been doing it from home.
I have the below recipe and i assume its still free on a green.

Batchelors Rice (Cooked as per packet instructions)
3 large eggs
Big tub of Cottage Cheese

Cook off rice as per instructions on packet and let cool down.
Add whole tub of cottage cheese and the 3 eggs and mix together well.Pour into a oven proof dish.
Add to a preheated oven 220c. and leave in for about 45-60mins or until top is firm to touch and browned.

This is delicious and very filling. Can be eaten hot or cold.
 
That sounds great another idea wud be a fritata.

Grate some potato and squeeze out as much water as possible. Chop some onion, garlic, peppers (any veg you like realli) fry them off in a fryin pan add the potato and then add 4 eggs and cook until firm...then place under a grill to brown the top...its sort of like a spanish tortilla...but its yummy and good good if u fancy a snack :)
 
Thanks for the recipe imthatguy. Love to try something new. Sounds very filling also. Also sounds like a good work lunch. :)

I do the same kind if thing but only use low fat cottage cheese and eggs (for every 50g of cottage cheese one egg) u can add ur HE of cheese but u don't have to as it is tasty with out. All I add is peppers onion mushrooms and then u get a syn free snack that's tasty. It takes about 30 mins to cook on gas 5. I also top with slices of fresh tomatoes and a sprinkle of salt and pepper u can add other fillings if u wanted x
