Movie Night with the girls

Help needed please.I started on SW a couple of weeks ago, and last week at my first weigh in I lost 7 1/2 pounds. So so pleased with this. Tonight however I have some friends who are not on SW, coming round to mine for a movie night and nibbles. Any suggestions please on what to serve up, that won't see me ruin the hard work I have put in so far.Thank you

I would make SW pizza and potato wedges - perfect film food!

You can make pizzas using either a Weight Watchers Tortilla Wrap (5.5 Syns) or a Warburtons Square Wrap (8 Syns) as your base. Spread with tomato puree and then top with whatever topping you like - my favourite is chicken, mushrooms, peppers, red onion, sweetcorn and halved cherry tomatoes. Sprinkle with a healthy extra a choice of grated cheese (you can have 45g if it's a reduced fat variety). Pop in the oven for around 10 mins or so, and you have your perfect, low syn pizza!

For the wedges, cut potatoes into wedge shapes. I don't bother par-boiling them, I just spray with loads of BBQ FryLight and sprinkle with Aromat/seasoning, and shove them in the oven for about 30-40 minutes or so, turning half way through. I like to make a salsa dip to go with my wedges, which is really easy to make. It's just half a can of chopped tomatoes with some chilli, red onion and red pepper mixed in - simples!!

Enjoy :)

How about the sw onion bhajis. I think its smash, savoury rice, curry powder, onion but am sure the recipe is on here somewhere. Serve with a raita of natural fromage frais, cucumber and a bit of seetener

Hi girls, Thank you very much for all this information. I ended up making lots of potato wedges with salsa dip. They were delicious and filling, and even though I put 'naughty' nibbles out for the others, I felt very satisfied with the wedgesSecond weigh in tomorrow...fingers crossed
