    Pea and Ham soup?

Hi I was just wondering if anyone had a pea and ham soup recipe? I tried some at a SW taster session a few weeks ago and it tasted like it had mushy peas in? But all the recipes I've found have frozen peas in?
If someone could give me some tips that'd be great thanks!

    Hi Sophie,

I usally use the frozen peas (it tastes so much better) as well - I tend to make it in 2 pots, one with chopped ham, boiled in small amount of water, and the other one with peas and any herbs or stock cubes. When the peas are boiled I blend them, then I add the ham and ham water. Sometimes I cook some peas with the ham so that I have some whole peas swimming in the thick soup. it makes it interesting. I normally use the whole bag of peas for that.

Peas are not superfree so you need to have your superfree veg or fruit with this meal.

    Hope this helps.
