    Egg for meatballs????

    Hi all

I'm trying to go for quick m simple recipes this week as me n my daughter aren't 100% well but need to be healthy n I've promised her she can help me cook

So want to make meatballs possibly tomorrow I've seem lots of recipes but a friend told me I'd need to add egg to the mix to bind the meat n basically hold em together

I know eggs are free but if it's not needed n make no big diff I won't bother

Never made meat balls before lol I love to cook but always forget about the simple things

Any opinions n advice appreciated xx

I've made them with out an egg but they took a bit more careful handling and were a bit dryer once they came out. Well worth the egg IMO. my eldest lad likes to really really mash the mince to a fine paste and make Swedish style balls. They hold up quite well without one.
