Sweet and Sour fanta chicken

I did this for our tea tonight and it was delicious however I couldn't get the sauce to thicken up is there a nak to this?!

I think you have to let it simmer and reduce which will thicken the liquid

Yeah I tried that it was cooking for about 40 mins but it just didn't thicken up ? oh well I'm sure ill get that it still tasted ok x
