Hi everyone,

Thought it might be good to share some favourite syn free snacks, mine have to be crust less quiche and boiled eggs :)

How about you lot? X

Free ham!!!! I just love it! And pickled onions! I take a little pot to work my breath isnt the best but o well haha!

I seen a recipe for free hash browns and thinking of making then up for snacks or free onion bajis with a yogurty dip for nights when im peckish (i'm a savoury person)

Cajun spiced potato wedges - yum! :)

Hi .... I really need to get to thinking about snacks at the weekend as my fiance sits and stuffs his face with Bacon fries and Cheese puffs so this post really will help... Thanks ;)

my consultant advised that the best free syn snack is boiled eggs... when she buys her box of egg she will straight away boil half of them and keep them in the fridge and then she knows she will always have something Free to munch on... thought that was quite a good idea!

My friend freezes grapes she said they take longer to eat that way and they are always in the fridge ready to snack on!

Mini milks are low syns to ! I think it was 3.5 each but I really am not sure so please check before eating!

Sugar free jelly pots are half a syn :)

The recipe seems quite easy... just grate potatoes then put them in a tea towel and squeeze the water out, add finely chopped sweet peppers and spring onion (I'm thinking of just adding normal white onion and no pepper) season to taste and add in just enough beaten egg to bind the potatos, mix with hands or spoon and shape into balls. flatten the balls into dics and then place in a a hot pan sprayed with fry light, one browned on both sides turn down the heat and fry gently until cooked through, keep spraying with frylight as nessecary and pressing down to help the inside cook.

Omg yum! I get confused with potato skins , do you scoop out most the potato and not return it? or do u mix you potato with the ingrdients bacon etc?

Mix the potato in too, plonk it back in and top with cheese. Bang in the oven for about 10 mins and very yummy!! I actually nabbed some of my quiche mix,2 birds with one stone! Lol x

Ooh great I never thought to use those! Will give them a go! I think I'm addicted to chips done with fry light, so nice! X
