Thread: Question about oven temperatures!

I don't know if this is the right sub so please redirect me if it isn't!

I'm making SW pulled pork the now and it's on 160, I'm going to make it with home made chips which require it to be on 240. Can I put the chips in for like 40 minutes on 160? Or does it not work like that?

If not.. My oven only goes up to 220 so then what ;_;

home made chips on 240? Are you sure? I have a fan oven and do SW chips and they only need to be on around 180 for 25 mins...are you looking at the wrong temp for your oven type maybe?

oh yeah...od!! im the same as you my oven stops at 220! Ive always done them on 180 and they cook lovely. Not sure if that temp on SW is for normal ovens wheras mine is a fan oven so needs a lower temp.
