    HELP :O Courgette in Cake??

    Hello

I've been looking at the scan bran chocolate cake which i am hoping to make over the next couple of days.

I have seen a few of the recipes mention putting half a grated courgette in it?? to make it more 'fluffy'

Has anyone ever tried the scan bran cakes (or any other cakes) with it in? Can you taste the courgette?

I don't really want to put it in if I keep getting a taste of courgette when i'm expecting / wanting chocolate lol but I don't want to not put it in if its realllly worth it.

    Thank you!

I think the carrot cake is the best scan bran cake. Grated carrot and loads of ginger. Also good to add dried fruit if you want to syn them but if not carrot and ginger are free anyway.

thank you! Might have to try that one

made the chocolate one yesterday morning with just a chunk of courgette in it, it was ok whilst it was warm but as soon as it cooled down its wasnt good!

Although you couldn't taste the courgette you got the texture through which wasn't to bad!
