Salt and chilli chicken is my favourite dish from the chinese so I decided to try and make it myself. Obviously I couldn't have the battered version :( so it's just chicken!

Ingredients:
Chicken Breast
3 cloves garlic
2 chillies
handful of spring onions
1 tbsp soy sauce
salt and pepper to season
frylight

1. Cut up the chicken breast into cubes or strips (whichever you prefer) and cook in frylight and soy sauce until sealed.
2. Meanwhile chop up the garlic and chillies finely, and slice the spring onions into small strips.
3. Once the meat is sealed, add the vegetables and stir fry for four minutes.
4. Season to taste and serve!

(P.S. You can also coat the chicken in a little flour mixed with paprika, cayenne pepper, onion powder and garlic salt to make it crispy if you want for about 3.5 syns!)!

I made egg fried rice to go with this, but next time I'd probably add rice to this and have it all as one dish!

Sounds delicious, thanks for sharing! Do you think Quorn chicken pieces would be ok or not work as well?

I'm sure with the soy sauce they'd be OK? It has quite a lot of flavour so Quorn should be fine.

Brilliant thanks for your reply, will have to try this, didn't know if the texture would change the sealing process, never cooked like this with quorn chicken pieces
