Fish pie using sliced potatoes instead of mash?

Can I just change it to sliced potatoes? Anyone tried this? I want to try out the slicer on my food processor!! Thanks
 
It should be nice - if there thin enough they could probably go on raw, if a bit thicker, it may be best to par boil them first - enjoy:)
 
when i do them sliced i use the ones form the can. So cheap and totally fine IMO in pies etc :)
Another trick (jamie oliver) is to wizz up frozen peas and mix them with your mash thoroughly. Use this as the topping. Super healthy and yummy.
