Hi all, need some advice. I make chilli with extra lean beef mince. Then i pack it up and freeze portions individually - how long would you say they would be OK lasting for? In the past i've eaten all the portions quite quickly so never thought about it.....do you think a month?
I defrost it before i heat it up.

I would keep it for 2-3 months. It's fine once you freeze it

I once left it 5 months by accident and didn't want to waste it with the cost of extra lean mince so we ate it for tea and were all fine :-) still standing! I'm strict with chicken or fish but mince not so much. x
