Anybody have any super easy free or low-syn meal ideas?? I work shifts and sometimes I just don't have the energy to cook from scratch!

Sorry if this has been posted before, I couldn't find anything.

Asda chickpea dhal (in a tin) is syn free and can be heated up quickly in the microwave. Batchelors pasta and sauces are mainly syn free or low syn (made with water) and are ready in about 10 minutes. Add some vegetables/salad and there you go.

When you've got the time to cook tho, make big batches of things like bologneise, chilli etc and freeze them so you've always got something handy :)

Oh, and most supermarkets do frozen vegetables in individual bags that you can put in the microwave for 2 minutes so that you can easily get your superfree x

i like using the batchelors savoury rice and adding veg and/or pre cooked chicken

I keep I. A pack of gallo rmushroom risotto for just thus occasion. You just add boiling water and simmer. I often add tinned sliced mushrooms to it.

Any of the microwaveable rices. You can get the packs that are portioned, and you just pop them in for 2 mins. Or you can get (much cheaper option) frozen rice with peas etc, again microwavable. Failing that Ainsley Harriot does really nice couscous, plain or flavours. I love the morrocan one.

Omelettes are quick and easy, sainsburys beef ravioli is free you could have that with a pack of the frozen veg someone else suggested, tuna and Sweetcorn pasta would be quick to do (I had this for lunch today!) you could shove a chicken breast in the oven whilst you're in the shower and have that with salad or something, jacket potatoes take about 6mins in the microwave, all sorts of ideas lol

On my lazy evenings it's a mug shot (free one), roast chicken (tesco pre-cooked chunky pieces) and fruit. Or else I'll have smash, baked beans and chicken with super free fruit.
Nothing gourmet but tasty and on plan.

Hey was just wondering if anyone has had the Morrisons sweet chilli noodles in the salad section and are they high syn? As I don't finish work till half 8 tonight so quick easy dinner is on hand Lolz they look really nice there thin noodles was thinking of chicken mushrooms peppers onions with it I love sweet chilli thanks in advance :)

hi I work shifts too so i know how hard it is when your feeling tired , I have found in the past it has paid off to spend half a day doing some batch cooking and freezing it so i always have something i can just take out of the freezer and microwave
