Cake in a mug

So I tried the chocolate cake in a mug that people have been raving about recently....does it always feel a bit rubbery, or did I overcook it ? I microwaved it for about 2 minutes. Tasted nice but felt a bit horrible!

Funnily enough I have just had mine with fromage frais and satsuma and it was delicious, I done mine for about 1 minute that's on a 900 watt micro

Am sure it will be fine next time and it certainly hits the spot. It's a bit like the pancakes it took me a couple of attempts to get that right :)

I tried it for the time yesterday, mine took about 1 min 45. I think you just need to experiment :D I used a chocolate and hazelnut options for 1.5 syns and it was lovely!

I am sooooo trying this. Are these options the small packs you get from the supermarkets. In the hot chocolate section??

This sounds very yummy how do we make it? Sorry...newbie :) well an oldie but coming back after a long time away :) xx

Well I was given a recipe in group: you mix one egg, 3tsp sweetener and any options hot chocolate 11g sachet in a mug. Then you blast it in the microwave for around two mins. Though mine sw overcooked first attempt! I'm going to try it again with 1:30 on the microwave.

Oh my goodness! The minty one, with 1:30 on the clock was SO MUCH BETTER! Really yummy and much lighter texture :) AND it hasn't stuck to the cup as much. Win win win

I don't know if I didn't make it properly, but mine tasted like chocolate scrambled egg! I couldn't seem to get the egg and options to mix :/

Bash it with a fork and stir like you are trying to break the mug (or cause an chocolately egg tornado). All the energy used counts towards body magic....! haha

Don't be put off by the slightly odd texture. When you remind yourself it's less than 2 syns, it's not that bad! Also it's nice with a bit of free yoghurt on the side, like custard.

Just made this with a hazelnut one was yummy, would make it again xx
