Hi iv got a spicy Szechuan sauce recipe , I just ad the chicken any the end ?
1 tsp mixed peppercorns , crushed
1 tsp dried red chilli flakes
1 garlic clove peeled and crushed
1 red chilli , deseeded and finely chopped
1 onion , peeled and finely chopped
1 tbsp dark soy sauce
275 ml veg stock
2 level tsp cornflour
Method -: place all ingredients , except the cornflour in a pan , bring to boil and simmer for 15 mins .
Mix the cornflour to a smooth paste with 1 tbsp of water and stir into the sauce , simmer stirring continuously , until thickened
Serves 4 , half a syn per serving
Iv made it once and was really spicy and I only used half a chilli , ended up putting double the passata in , was very nice though x
