Im looking for some dinner ideas.
i have to beable to feed my 5 year old and partner from this aswell.
I have most meals
spag bol, lasagne, chilli, pasta bakes, salads, curries ect covered.
Just wanted some new ideas, bored of eating the same things all the time!
sorry if there is already a post, im new to this and just need some help.
Its very easy to get stuck in a food rut whether you're following an eating plan or not - we all stick to the tried and tested!! Have a look through some of the recipes on here - also the sw magazine has great ones in
Tonight I've nicked a recipe off an Indian lady that I work for (hers had 21 different spices and I'm using tandoori powder!!!). She cooks lovely Indian food but is on a health kick so has adapted some. It chicken thighs, red onion and peppers marinated in a large carton of low fat natural yoghurt mixed with the spice powder (need to check the yoghurt for syns as mines not fat free). Then I'm going to bake it in the oven uncovered until it falls to bits and serve it with roasted new potatoes (microwaved first then bunged in the oven with frylite) and a huge salad
My mouths watering thinking about my tea now
That's the beauty of SW all meals as you know can be made SW friendly.
If you have a look on the recipe section here I'm sure you'll find loads of ideas.
Or if you have a particular meal in mind it can be made SW friendly, just ask for ideas.
You could take a look at some of the peoples diaries on here as well for ideas;)

Okay, thankyou, will have a look now.
i did wonder what it was haha.
I totally get where you are coming from. When I first started I think it was the repetition that got to me and I thought I really need to start looking around to expand my diet to prevent the boredom and risk of cheating. I think as you've already been told following the recipe threads on here is a great way to pick up ideas along with food diaries and the what's for lunch, tea threads as well. I don't go to group so I buy the mags and tear out all the recipes I think I would like and put them in plastic pockets and keep them in a ring binder. I also copy recipes I find and save them in word documents so I can go back at a later date to try. Sometimes you read stuff and think, that's so obvious, why didn't I think of it before! But it's a great way to introduce new food, avoid the repetition and inspire you to carry on looking for more. Good luck with everything :D
Im not going to the groups either!

2 i have two children
& 3 my partner works and i just dont have the time.
ive found alot of recipes by google but i was anxious to try them at first but now im getting a bit more adventurous.
