I would agree with the above- "saucy" recipes tend to freeze well! A good tomato based sauce can also be handy to have in the freezer, ready to convert into multiple dishes- pasta/curry/chilli/soup depending on what else you add in terms of meat and spices.
Just double/triple the quantities, cook as you normally would then divide it into portions. You can use freezer safe zip-lock bags or some use old takeaway plastic tubs with lids/tupperware. Allow the food to cool down before you pop it into the freezer too so your freezer doesn't go into overdrive!
